Western Hat Carrier ( Black )

I have a Stetson Aussie cowboy hat I bought in 1988. It's a great hat and I want to keep it clean and in good shape. This hat box is the answer. It is made of very sturdy plastic. Inside is an adjustable hat stand/holder that keeps the crown in the correct shape and allows the brim to assume its correct bend. I can't think of any way to improve this product. Not many people wear hats these days but those that do should consider this product.

The items I received WAS NOT as described. I wish I ordered one from somewhere more reputable and not a seller that was near impossible to track down to see why my item was so delayed with shipping.... a simple tracking number to start with would have saved me a lot of stress. Now I am disappointed that the item is not as described. It is very cheap & flimsy plastic and has no mirror and as for the adjustable hat sizer... it's a joke that is not easily manipulated. All in all an EXTEME WASTE OF $50! Expectations were much higher and the seller needs to change their descriptions and not copy & paste off other retailers when it does not match their cheap and inferior product.

I have been very happy with this cowboy hat carrier. It has held up very well while traveling and the ability to lock it is a great feature as well as the added bonus of a mirror in side. I am pleased with the product and I plan to order more.

Greetings, Folks,Recently, I bought a plastic hat carrier from Hammer Plastics, in Mishawaka, Indiana. As I travel a good bit, and need to carry several types of hats, from Fedoras, to Western hats, to Panama hats, to my old hemp sun hat, I needed a carrier that would carrier more than one hat at a time. Previously, I'd checked quite a few Western wear shops around the US, and the only thing I could find were el cheapo Chinese knock-off's of what appear to be the Hammer Plastics product! This was very disappointing, as the Chinese hat carriers use very cheap snap closures and hinges, and also have a very sloppy fit and finish. Additionally, there is no mirror in the Chinese hat boxes, and to top it all off, the are not MADE IN AMERICA!! So, I called Hammer Plastics directly, and spoke with Ratsamy, who was very nice person, and she answered every single question I had regarding their products. In the end, I ordered a black, double hat carrier from this company, and when it arrived yesterday, via FedEx, I was expecting it to be very good, indeed, however it was even BETTER than I'd expected!! Made with care and precision, and with solid, high quality US-made snaps and hinges(which have a nice 90° stop designed into them), my new Hammer Plastics hat carrier is truly superlative in form and function. This hat carrier makes all the el cheapo Chinese copies look just like what they are: cheap, poorly made, and a waste of my hard-earned money!!! Thank God I waited to get the real thing, and from a reputable, honest, and reliable company, right here in the good ol' USA!!! Right now, I actually have three hats in my new hat carrier, and at least for me, that is working very well: a large Akubra Western hat in the bottom, with a small brim Fedora on top of it; and one of my nice Stetson Fedora hats in the top part of the double hat carrier! Hammer Plastics does not advertise that this is possible, and some might not really want to do it. But, for me, with the right hats, it seems to work very well. So, you "can" carry three good hats, all in the same box, one large Western hat, and two Fedoras. And if all of them are Fredoras, FOUR hats will fit, all protected and easily carried around and stored. Like most of you, I would not piggy-back my best hats. But for one nice hat, and up to three daily wear hats, this carrier works a treat, as my English friends like to say!! I also had ordered two of the quality hat brushes that Hammer offers, and they, too, were very nicely done, and will definitely do a better job of hat brushing chores than my old, tired brush did.So, to sum up, let's see what we get: For a very reasonable and decent price, you get a quality hat carrier, which will protect and easily store 2, 3, or 4 hats, depending on the situation and the type of hats; the carrier has a nice, easy to see mirror mounted inside the top portion (a nice touch); ALL snap closures (which are lockable), hinges, handles, and everything else, are made in the United States of America, by a home-town, family-run business!! This carrier is so far superior to every other carrier I've seen in the Western wear stores that are skimping on quality, that I'm ashamed of, and for, such places!! They need to dump the el cheapo, Chinese-junk, and start offering the much superior Hammer Plastics hat carrier! The prices are about the same, so if you can have far better quality, and support the US by buying from a real American company, what's stopping you, Folks!! Tell your local store to look into the hat carriers from Hammer Plastics, as I did. I am sure that they, and also YOU, will be very happy with the quality of their products, the friendly and professional service, and the super quick shipping! I most certainly am, and Hammer Plastics has EARNED my business the old-fashioned way: by working hard to create an American-made product, that is superior to the competition, reasonably priced, and offer super customer service, too!!I hope my comments are helpful to those who are seeking such a nice hat carrier, as I was.
