It just works...
Very happy with this adapter, especially for the price. I have it plugged in to an outlet in my shed, which is feed by a 100 foot run from my main panel. It paired easily with my other adapters (a mix of different brands - all on different wiring circuits in the house). I have this adapter connected to a POE switch with two 4MP security cameras transmitting video 24/7 to my NVR. I have been running this setup for about a month and there was only 1 brief signal loss reported by the cameras which could have been power blip and nothing to do with the adapter itself. There is no difference in the video quality, etc. compared my other cameras that are run directly to the NVR which tells this adapter is providing a stable and fast connection. As with all Powerline set-ups, your mileage may vary based on many factors, but this one is performing like a champ while doing what I see as some relatively heavy lifting based on the volume of data, the circuitry, and the environment I am exposing it to. I'll be curious to see how it holds up in the cold this winter in my non-climate controlled shed (it did make it through some heat), but since its not rated for the environment I have it in, I wouldn't fault the product/manufacturer if it fails.

Great product
I already had the big brother of this adapter (worked great in our basement, which was otherwise a dead zone) and was looking for one to provide connectivity for AppleTV in the family room. Since the model number was not exactly the same I had some fears about compatibility, but it worked flawlessly - just plug and play, worked first time and no problems since. A much better solution to extending wireless range than the various "range extenders" or wireless boosters that I've tried over the years, none of which made any appreciable difference in connectivity. You do need to plug it in and connect to your device with an ethernet cable, but connect it to an inexpensive wireless router and you have an instant mini wireless hotspot.

It doesn't work properly
I have two of these. I tried using one for a desktop computer (to access the Internet ) and the other one was connected to my alarm system, which is monitored through the Internet. Both worked very slowly and unreliably (all 3 green lights flickered continuously). Then I bought 2 D-link modules, they work great for both uses.

As good as a wired connection without the hassle.
I purchased this along with the TPL-4052E adapter to supply a better quality network connection to a variety of media devices around my TV. This is the end I have plugged into my router. I've had my blue ray player, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and an Onkyo receiver connected to this system and it works fantastic. Every bit as good as a wired connection, as far as I can tell. For me, this is a vast improvement over wifi. Because we live in condos, there are a ton of Wifi networks in the area and a lot of interference. Plus, several of my devices shipped with Ethernet only, and require propriatery adapters to use wifi. Using the TRENDnet product, I can provide a connection with the speed and stability of a wired connection without the hassle of running the cable.Setup couldn't be easier, you plug in the two adapters next to each other, push two buttons until the units sync, and then move them wherever you want in the house. Mine are on separate circuits and seem to work well anyways. I would highly recommend this product.

Easy setup
I just bought this adapter to add to my existing setup, which had a couple of older adapters. Plugged it in, synched and it worked right away. Worked well.
