These little gold skewers worked out perfectly for my Christmas Eve appetizer trays. These were the perfect length and thickness and I didn't have any of the balls on the end fall off so that was a plus. I would like to point out that other reviewers are right in that the "gold" ball on the end is more yellow than gold. The color wasn't important to me so I didn't really care, but I couldn't definitely see where others might not be happy about that. Other than that I would most definitely recommend these skewers.
