Keeps foot at lifted angle. No dangle at all!
The media could not be loaded. So far it's working amazingly. I'll be taking a long awaited walk soon and will update afterwardsUPDATE:Just walked a full mile with no foot drop issues! I'm super excited that this simple device works like magic! Heel to toe! Finally after years of lifting my knee to clear the ground and getting so tired quickly. I could barely walk 1 block.Im able to wear a regular lace up sneaker again. Also very easy to set up on my shoe. Thank you so much for this product. I'm ordering a second one for my other shoes. If I could just buy the clip device separately that would be even better but until then I'll just buy another set up.If you suffer foot drop..please try this. No more ugly orthopedic shoes or clunky brace!

Doesn't work well for me
Doesn't hold for very long. I think the band around the ankle is sliding down my leg and therefore making it ineffective. But, I have very skinny ankles so it is hard to make the band tight enough plus i have big feet (womens size 11). It also makes swelling in my foot a little worse because of the tight ankle band. I guess I would recommend this only to people who don't have big feet, skinny ankles, or swelling. However, if you qualify for a custom brace, go with that.

Comfortable and flexible
My son has serious drop foot. He basically walks on his ankle because his right foot is turned so far to the right. He wears a leg brace whenever he goes out but at home he doesn’t wear one. I wanted something that would aid in keeping his foot from turning so far outward. Because of this disability, his gait is so wide. He constantly trips and it’s hard for him to maneuver around things. So we needed something to make walking around the house a little easier for him. We strapped this over a thick sock for extra comfort. The top part that goes around his ankle, we twist as far to his left as possible so that the buckle is almost on the inside of his ankle instead of the front. The other buckle part that wraps around his foot, we keep facing forward. We do this to help pull his foot towards the front. I like this brace. The Velcro is nice and strong and so far (we had it for 2 months) it is holding up. Very easy to put on and take off. I’m also hoping it will help his foot turn a little further forward over time. So in addition to his large hard brace that starts from his toes and ends at his knee this is a good extra brace just for wearing at home. It’s comfortable, easy to use and simplistic. It doesn’t take up half of his leg, very minimalistic, which we love. Definitely recommended if you want a small foot brace to wear besides the bulky one from the doctor.

Thin versus stout; Its a return for me
I cannot speak to whether this device is comfortable, functional or easy to use because it is too small to go around my ankle. I didn't even have to try. As soon as I looked at it I knew it was too small.I suffer from neuropathy and drop foot and have tried just about everything in an effort to find sufficient support, but it always comes down to thin legs versus stout and swelling versus no swelling. I know there are other stout people out there but most of these devices are made for those with thin legs.Yes. I read the specs that said it fits a 12-inch ankle. Because of swelling my ankle is 13 inches. I had hoped there was some leeway but there is none. So thin wins again and it's a return for me.

I am a physical therapist and approve of this product.
I have had a pair of these for a couple weeks now. They immediately improved my confidence with gait. My wife never even noticed them for the first couple days. They provide enough toe lift so that I no longer occationally catch my toes and lose my balance. They also do not impede plantar flexion as the neoprene cuffs stretch enough to allow normal toe off. Get one of these if you just have a single sided deficit or a pair if you are bilateral impaired so you can walk normally and safely again. They are 100% more comfortable than the expensive hard plastic AFOs. Also, they are easy to put on by yourself if you can bend forwards while sitting. Contrary to some reviews that say that the velcro wears out, it is fine. Maybe those people put them in the dryer and they attracted fuzz balls. Also, those reviews that say the shoe lace strap is too short, I wear size 15 U.S. shoes and the strap could probably extend to a size 20. Overall this is a fantastically designed product that can change your life if you wear laced shoes or sneakers. Buy, buy, buy.

Disappointed
I suffer from foot drop due to prior stroke and was very excited to try this and be able to use it around the house however, I was very disappointed as I read a lot of the reviews before I purchased this and it seemed to help them. Maybe it's the circumference of people's legs and feet. I have skinny legs and a skinny foot and this product did not help at all the length of the cord that you buckle was way too long even when I put the second brace higher up my leg it did not help with the function of lifting up my foot whatsoever. I've tried every single possible option. I am giving it to stars only because it's a great material. I just wish it would have worked for me.
