I was totally disappointed. This stand could not handle the weight of an average sized computer monitor. It bends and therefore cannot handle its most basic purpose for which it is intended. I now is it to create extra shelf space on my office desk to hold small stationery items.

I wouldn't advise to use this for a monitor because it bends and I don't think it's sturdy enough.
