Update 6 months later: I’m still obsessed. It’s perfect.Original review:I’ve been eyeing these ottomans from some large retailers for a couple years, but never purchased. Found this unstuffed one on Amazon, and since it has free returns, figured I had nothing to lose.I’m SO glad I did!! I’m absolutely blown away by the quality of the leather. The zipper is strong and enforced (see third photo of zipper placement underneath). The stitching is perfect. The color is exactly the warm brown I was hoping for.Stuffing: We had an old, unused memory foam mattress that we used a bread knife to cut into smaller pieces to squeeze inside, instead of buying filler. I think sleeping bags, comforters, and pillows would work well, too, and probably be a bit more solid for seating (the memory foam slowwwly sinks when you sit on it, but looks fantastic!).I paid for expedited shipping and tracked the voyage across the world !!! And it arrived in about a week. Well packaged. And they even threw in a few extra goodies — a leather journal and pillowcases!Couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

I like the fast shipping and the obvious craftsmanship. There was no chemical odor; it had a *very* faint odor of leather (which is a given due to it being actual animal hide).If I had a negative opinion it would be because the color was not as rustic, distressed or variegated as I thought it would be. I love the base color (cognac) and I suspect that the leather will get more distressed as we use it but my preconceived idea was that it would be more distressed. My kids will certainly give it a run for its money and will have lots of imperfections in no time. I have no doubt it will hold up to my rambunctious kids! The zipper looks sturdy.At first, I was really upset that i had to buy it unstuffed (due to price which is my personal problem) but now I have a place to put my old stained or discolored sheets and an excuse to buy new sheets! I like how I can fill it with stuff that I already have around my house.

This is lovely. The leather is soft, but it would be hard for me to recommend. I ordered $50 (20 lbs) of memory foam stuffing. It wasn’t enough. It’s very difficult to stuff. Ordered additional 5lbs and still not sturdy or “coffee table” like. It’s more like an very expensive bean bag and I would never invest over $300 for a beanbag!

Initially I was worried about the zipper but it has held up over this year. With multiple uses I’ve testified this probably 4 times before I got it right. Overall good quality!I have stuffed mine with everything extra from around our home. Children’s moments blankets/ stuffed animals. Extra sheets/ blankets, soft camping gear ext. The best way to form the full is to place everything in rectangular soft side collapsable totes. I used a 1inch full bed size memory foam topper as the first insert then placed the rectangular packs on top. Helps organize the things stores within and way less floppy if a final shape. A year later I love this.

Update: it till a lot to fill and looks nice but the zipper came off because there is no stitching to stop it. I'm confident the zipper will fall apart if I need to take things out of this regularly. I'm most likely going to return it and spend about 200 on a better quality stuffed option.Half of the pictures on the product listing (literally 4/8) show the leather bottom on this ottoman. In reality there is a cheap canvas bottom, which ok, but dont feature the leather in your listing and adjust the price to match the quality. Also this thing smelllllls - plan to let it air out for a while and wash anything that you store in it.The quality of the leather that is on the product is decent and the stitching is also ok - there are some spots where you will probably need to melt the thread so it doesnt pull out.I expected more given the price - I can buy a similar leather ottoman that is filled from a known brand for 100 or so more (when accounting for cost of filling) which does not cut corners.

Wonderful product for the price. Although I can not use it as I originally intended, a quick purchase on some fill and I have a whole new ottoman. It accentuates my cow print and straw color theme. The "bonus gift" was a sweet surprise. Thank you!

Good size and material however item was more of an orange color than brown so ended up returning !

I ordered (2) 20x20x18" the delivery was very quick to Canada and the workmanship is there... highly recommended

Absolutely gorgeous for the price!

Quite disappointed as these were not cheap.One of them is absolutely beautiful; soft leather, lovely colour- exactly as it appears in the photo! This one also came in a nice box with a little ‘thank you’ card and information about how and where it was made.The 2nd one looks like it was made somewhere different. The leather is not as soft, the colour is very orange. Even the stitching on this one is in orange instead of tan. The box is printed in slightly different colours so I think it must be a different batch. This one had no information cards on the inside.I have tried to take photos to show the difference. Although I understand that leather is a natural material and therefore no 2 products will be exactly the same…this orange one is very disappointing and they don’t look like they belong together.

It took two foam mattress toppers and two pillows to fill this up. I just cut up the foam mattress and put pieces in it until it was full. I tried a comforter but that deflated too easily. The foam is solid enough to provide structure. I originally was going to use this as storage and put things I have in it, but the inside smells too chemically for my liking, so the foam was my preferred option. Good quality leather, really solid.

I was really wanting an ottoman the exact same colour and leather texture as the one in the picture. Unfortunately, it looks nothing like that. The colour is closer to that shown in the subsequent pictures which, unfortunately, I didn’t look at before purchasing. That said, it does seem extremely well-made, but it is just one solid colour The colour is more of a coffee with cream without any of the variations shown in the photo. The ottoman came with an unusual little square, “backrest pillow“ which I didn’t not see using.
