We start with actual real wood beams. We then rough hew the real wood beam using old-fashioned tools. It has all the tooling marks that give it true character. Then we make a high quality mold out of the wood beam and pour polyurethane into that mold to make a beam with the same texture and look of a real wooden beam. Important! Any Timber or Sandblasted Beams, Planks and/or Corbels intended to be used in an exterior application needs to be top coated with a high quality clear coat exterior polyurethane with a UV inhibitor to protect the stain from fading.
