Tommie CopperMen’s Core Compression Tights | UPF 50, Breathable, Sweat Wicking Activewear for Everyday Support & Recovery

I try to work out as much as I can but also have a lot of neuromuscular pain. I saw a Tommie Copper commercial on TV, read a bunch of reviews and got super excited -- I own quite a bit of compression/recovery gear but am always looking for something new, something that works even better than what I've already got. Sadly this TC gear doesn't work for me and totally isn't worth the price IMO. These pants aren't very stretchy first of all -- the fabric is kind of rigid actually, which I was surprised by, so they don't really form to my hips/waist very well. The crotch is a little saggy too. But more importantly these don't really *compress* much at all. I like the tight squeeze of compression, feeling like I'm being massaged all over, and these tights don't provide that. I was careful to order the correct size (I measured myself with a cloth tape measure!) so that's not the problem.I haven't researched copper's pain-relieving properties, so I cannot attest to this but I'll admit I'm very skeptical. But it's compression I want and I didn't get it with this product. Sadly I missed my return window, so I'm stuck with these relatively expensive tights (I also bought a TC "compression" shirt that I can't return). I still wear these overnight sometimes to keep warm and in hopes that they'll provide some relief (like when my other recovery gear is dirty or hanging dry after washing), but if I were you I would look elsewhere for recovery gear. One brand I've gotten into recently is CompressionZ here on Amazon. Their tights don't *say* recovery but you can totally use them for that -- they provide WAY MORE compression than TC in my experience. Their long sleeve shirts are awesome too, both for working out and for recovery. They're much more affordable too! I really want to try the 2XU recovery tights (I have a pair of their 3/4 tights for working out and they are AWESOME and I can imagine their recovery gear is similarly incredible. They've got great reviews as of right now) but they're expensive and I can't afford them right now :(

I am a 57-year old man who recently began an intensive weightlifting regime. I wear Tommy Copper compression shirts and compression pants and I never seem to get injured. I love the security I feel when I am wearing them, and if I feel really sore after a hard workout day, I'll even sleep in them.

There is one seam down the middle. If you have nothing between your legs it’s perfect. How is that supposed to work for a man? It doesn’t.

These compression pants helped me to recover from a total right knee replacement in only eight weeks.! The only feature that they need desperately is some sort of fly opening for urination. Most candidates for surgeries such as mine are all on some kind of water pills , mine is furosemide and when nature calls with furosemide in my system speed is of the essence!

I had bought a pair of black ones a few years ago. They helped with post workout pain. Got a grey pair, the fit is the same. Don't notice any breakdown comparably. Will alternate for use.

I bought this for my boyfriend to help with his recovery between workouts and games and he loves it. He wears it all the time and says it works wonders. He felt the difference almost immediately and says his muscles recover faster and he has more energy after using it. We recommend this product to everyone

I purchased this for my husband who is a religious basketball player. He absolutely love them and calles them his personal bandaid. They provide great support however, he noticed a hole on the knee area after the first time he wore them, and another hole after the second time. These pants are overpriced if they can not withstand 2 ball games.

But it's supposed to be small and it really does the trick. It gives me confidence when I hike that I am not going to twist anything.
