So I like to carry an external monitor for my laptop when I travel for some time or go on holiday, so I have chosen a cheap 23.8in 2560x1440 monitor (Prechen HD-238, ASIN B0BGHMQH3B) which is cheap very light at 3.5Kg, but also being cheap has a rather flimsy and inflexible bottom stand. There are cheap regular VESA stands for around £20, but I bought this one even if it costs rather more because it is lighter than most and foldable. It looks like a quality item, and it even comes with a small screwdriver, a set of appropriate (M4) screws, and a spare set of screws, as they are easy to lose. The only limitation is that in order to be compact it is a bit short, so it does not allow portrait rotation of 24in monitor (unless one puts it on some books etc.). It has been a good choice: it is indeed foldable to a small size, it is lighter than most, and it is also quite robust, so a good choice as a stand to carry with me when travelling. It is somewhat expensive, but still good value, and it is the only foldable, lightweight stand that I could find, so I am satisfied.

Such a great stand — it holds the monitor very securely, especially considering its size. I’m glad it stands perfectly upright and it looks neat. There are options to rotate left or right and tilt forward with ease. I’m happy to say it has a premium metal feel — definitely not plastic. You can also change the angle of stand and incline it forwards and lock it in place! Stands like this are hard to come by! It works perfectly for 24-inch monitors and fits well with. I connected it to my 24.5” Uperfect LCD IPS Glossy Display monitor, that requires 75mm x 75mm, and honestly I think this is the only VESA mount stand for this type of monitor that exist! The height of the stand alone ( not including the vesa plate ) is 15cm. The difference in minimum-height between the mounting holes and the base: - for the 100mm is 12cm. - for the 75mm is 13.4cm. The package includes M4 screws (6 mm length), so no need to buy extra :)

All the joints are pretty stiff (which is understandable) but can only be adjusted with a spanner. Shame that the design doesn't allow to tighten it with allen key or something more accessable. Screws I got were too long for my 15 inch monitor so it's a bit wobbly.

Really unfortunate because Im searching for a monitor stand just like this. Unfortunately this isn't compatible with the 4K Samsung monitor I bought.

15.6インチのモバイルモニター用に購入。 折り畳み、高さ調整、回転可能でサイズ的にもデザイン的にも モバイルモニターにこの上なくピッタリなスタンドではないでしょうか。 すべて金属製のため重量感はありますが安定性も抜群です。 （若干可動部の動きが渋いですがポジションが決まれば気にならないです） 27インチのモニターでも使用してみましたが、バランスが悪く設置環境次第では使いにくい場面も。。 感覚的に大きくても20インチ前後が上限といったところでしょうか。

Nice design with rigid stable support

The stand is sturdy with good surface finishing. It comes with a screwdriver and some standard M4 screws and some optional screws. My portable monitor uses M3 screws for VESA mounting, so it would've been perfect if some were also included. I had some spare M3 screws laying around so it wasn't a major issue.
