Nice little beater saw you can't beat for the price
I was asked by a regular customer to do an aluminum railing and was looking for a little chop saw to throw a blade on and make my cuts. Something that wasnt my good (aka expensive) cause I'm not gonna beat up a top end saw and when this popped up at $100 i was good if it only lived long enough for the job. I was kind of braced for impact on the first cut, honestly wasnt sure it wasnt going to slam to a spark filled stop as the secret smoke escaped the motor. The thing chewed it all up. It is beyond no-frills but honestly, if it's accurate enough then who cares if its got a plain metal tab and screw tight clamp instead of some triple lock, lever clamp in custom molded plastic designed by a team of ergonomic engineers. The plastic has that shiny, light weight feel and sounds like the drive is using a capacitor thats 4 sizes too small but it gets up and spinning and cuts like a champ thru 3/8 in aluminum plate stock on a bevel without a problem. Beyond the price and the simple yet capable design thats got a death grip on the coattails of the well respected big brothers in the professional tool lineup- it's light. I mean going from a 67 pound 12 inch slider this thing feels like i could toss it down to someone from the second floor like a volleyball. Its lighter than my worm drive and simple enough that falling off a roof is either going to be total destruction or Just plug it back in... I have to take a better look at how truly accurate it is now that Im thinking maybe its got more future than I expected. When i took it oit of the box I did check it for square in both directions and it was within three tenths at 90 and 90. Im waiting on the decent quality blade its earned and me to make a zero clearance fence but am going to give it a shot with some of the smaller jobs I do where its ridiculous to set up the big saw for 12 cuts. Will see hor on it is thru the angles and how dialed in I can get it but it's earning some love for sure

Great quality for the low price!
I got this to save me from having to keep lifting my heavy circular saw when building a long wooden fence. It worked great for cutting fence boards to length. I was expecting mediocre quality for the low price, but I had no problems at all. It seemed very solid and kept its alignment and angle setting well with no slippage. Some reviewers were disappointed with the blade it came with, but for me it kept its sharpness after cutting 200 fence boards. I recommend this tool.

Husband Loved this saw.
This was a surprise for my wonderful, construction worker husband and it was a big hit. He uses this saw on every single job he decides to take on. He just started his business and has no helpers yet. He advised me this had been a life saver when he has to cut angles in he boards. Even though it is predominantly for trim, my husband makes it work for all sizes like 2 x 4s, etc. The saw can be adjusted to lean at different angles which accommodates a wide range of angle cuts. This little saw is tough because my husband built a stick barn large enough for a tractor and several implements with enough footage for a closed in storage room. It has a place to hook a shop vacuum so that cuts down on dust flying every where. That is nice because he doesn't track it into my house when he comes home. He said it's very easy to operate. And he has had wrist surgery, he said the handles were very comfortable for him to use to operate and adjust the saw. This product is well worth the money, highly functional and portable or stationary. My husband is enjoying his Mitre saw and it has been so handy since he works alone. He just loads it in his work truck and heads to the job. Now for big support beams and heavy duty work a bigger saw might be better. But for my husband's needs it is perfect for now.

Excellent quality and value
Very good value saw, well-built, been using it almost 3 years now. As long as you are fine with single bevel and are crosscutting 6" material or less, it will do the trick! Only issue I have had is the mitre lock/unlock lever seems be be threaded the wrong direction. Once I realized this it was not an issue, but wish I had known before tightening it to oblivion while attempting to loosen it. You cannot beat the value in this saw though, so all good!
