Some years ago we bought a small 60l fish tank for my daughter to have some pets. The issue was that the tank was too small and the water kept getting low in oxygen, so we got a bubble machine. We looked all over for a good recommendation and ended up getting one that worked brilliantly. The only problem: It sounded like someone was trying to use a jackhammer behind the fishtank. It had these four little rubber conical feet which were supposed to insulate it, and dampen the vibration, but they didn't. And the plastic hose was curled up, which put a twisting force onto the pump, and it'd vibrate itself horizontal and then it was jackhammer time as the wooden shelf vibrated too. We put up with it for a year, but one night I went into her room and she was wide awake with that thing hammering away in the background. Happy fish - unhappy daughter. It was time for a change. So, I hit up Amazon. I have to admit, I wasn't very choosy. I just scrolled until I saw a review that said "quiet" and hit "buy it now". A day later, I'd ripped out old thumpy, and popped this one on. Oh my, what a difference. This one puts out less bubbles, but it's MORE than adequate for a 60l tank! With the little diffuser you get, it makes a lovely curtain of bubbles at the back of the tank. But the best thing is that it's /silent/. If you put your ear close, you can hear it buzzing away, but from more than a few feet, the bubbles make more noise than the pump! It was so good, I instantly bought a second one for my little boy's fishtank which didn't have a bubble machine, largely because I was so fed up with the bzzzzzz coming through the floor from my daughter's room above ours, at night. Wonderful little things. They've been in now for about 4 months and they're both working brilliantly. I would say that for anyone that's had one burn out, it's been because you've bent the tube and put a kink in it. That'll make the pump heat up and burn out! I cut the hose a little shorter so it wouldn't kink. If there was one thing I'd add, it'd be a sucker with a hook to hang it off the back of the fishtank. Otherwise.. perfection.

Excellent mini air pump used for oxygenating a water tank while raising tadpoles. Surprisingly powerful. I plugged it into a small battery pack and it worked perfectly. Didn't appear to use much power. You can hear it but it's pretty quiet.

Packaging and delivery was excellent as was delivery time. Very carefully shipped. It would seem an excellent product, my only worry is that the unit itself does get very warm. This may not be a problem but it could be. Will it overheat and burn out?. I do not run it continuously and never at night. I think I may have to look for a more robust unit . Sad to say it is very cute and does the job,I just worry.

Best one of these I have bought yet. Very quiet compared to others also.

Only had this less than 2 months and it has stopped working

Works really well, I didn’t have a spare plug space but I did have a usb socket and it works perfectly. Had to actually add a valve in the tube because it was too powerful for my fish

Stick to the instructions and its very useful. The device ks efficient however, it does die after 4months so it is worth buyya couple if you are going to be relying on this.

I wanted to replace my supposedly quiet air pump as it was vibrating the floor down! This is the size of a battery and it's extremely quiet and surprisingly powerful for the size of a battery.

I bought this pump for an unusual application. I needed a small pump to use in a bubbler type level sensor in one of the tanks on my boat. Since the performance specs I was concerned about were not what aquarium hobbiest cares about so I bought the pump because it was cheap enough that if the pump didnt work for my application it would be no big deal. I works great. I tested it ability to quickly empty a 1/4 tube to a depth of 34 inches. The tube was left open to atmospheric pressure so it would fill with water. Within a second of attaching the pump to the tube there were bubbles coming out the bottom of the tube. The power consumption I measured was less that the 1 watt in the product description and the power consumption did not seem to vary with depth. This little pump is so quite that I had to hold it up to my ear to make sure it was working when I first connected to power.

Prodotto ottimo che ha il vantaggio dell'alimentazione USB (una powerbank capiente è in grado di farlo andare per diverse settimane), delle ridotte dimensioni e dei bassi consumi. La pompa è molto silenziosa e per ora funziona bene, vedremo nel tempo quanto durerà. Unica nota è il tubo flessibile, che flettendosi si piega e credo che potrebbe rompersi in determinate condizioni, questo vale soprattutto per il confezionamento, dove è tutto piegato per occupare il minor spazio. Fortunatamente nel mio caso era, pur se piegato/schiacciato in diversi punti, integro. Molto meglio sarebbe usare del PTFE per il tubo. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo, nella speranza che il prodotto funzioni nel tempo.

Perfecto para transporte de peces. Mucho uso y no ha fallado.
