Works Magic
I have a 03-09 gen 4runner. Prior owner never changed the diff fluid, and the rear diff was badly rusted. The fill plug was in worse shape than the drain, and appeared fused by rust to the housing. 22mm socket rounded the fill plug pretty bad. I knew to stop there and look for something to fix the issue.Bought the Irwin socket, gave it a nice hammering onto the fill plug. I only have a standard 1/2” drive ratchet which didn’t give me enough leverage. I have it a few whacks with a 5lb sledge and it started turning. Worked perfectly. The drain was rounded but gave it a good strong turn and it came right off, not sledge/breaker bar needed. This little socket saved my butt from a dealer trip.

Stealership saver!
Had a seized and rounded 24mm rear differential filler plug on my 1997 Toyota 4Runner, slapped this on with a few taps of a hammer and came right off with the impact. It saved me a trip the dealer (stealership). Worked perfectly and damaged nothing other than the plug that I replaced. Awesome tool to have and saved time and money.

Stripped Toyota bolt? This saved the day!
Broke free the stripped differential fill bolt on my Toyota Tundra. This seems to be a common theme with Toyota’s. I recommend hitting the bolt with some PB Blaster a day before you use this.

Excellent
Embarrassed to admit that I rounded off the the Fill bolt on my Toyota rear differential .. This little tool worked perfect. Drove it on with a hammer and using an extension was able to break the fill bolt loose.

Saved the day for me. Fill plug on my ...
Saved the day for me. Fill plug on my 92 Corolla manual transmission had been over tightened and rounded when trying to remove. Tried everything possible, and then I found this tool. Took less than 2 minutes to get bolt out. Got new bolt from Toyota for $5, and I was back on the road. This tool destroyed the old bolt, but I couldn't care less since I wouldn't want a rounded bolt back in.

The right tool for the right job
Used for removing stubborn rounded off drain plug on toyota tundra rear end. Hooked up to impact driver made quick work of plug. Only other option was to weld a nut on top of plug, this save me time and work.

Just what I needed
I had somewhat rounded a nut on my lawnmower blade and could not get it off but by using this product and somefluid to break the rust I was able to get the nut off. The socked seemed to be of good quality.

Did a great job taking off a rounded differential fill plug
Did a great job taking off a rounded differential fill plug. Didn't even destroy the bolt head so I was able to put it back on with a regular socket until I get a replacement. It is expensive, however I think it'll be worth getting more of these in some of the more common sizes.

Brilliant!!!!
Amazing tool got me out of jam on my Toyota mr2, with it being 25+ years old everything on it brakes once you put a tool to it. Used on my oil drain bolts as they were really badly chewed up and tight. Really really really worth the money and I paid about an extra 10 pound fee as that covered importing but don't hesitate just buy it.

High quality impressive tool.
This is an extremely good tool for extracting a rounded bolt head of size 24mm. Like other reviwers, I rounded the transmission filler plug on my Toyota. This tool took seconds to free it.

Essential for removing stubborn Toyota transmission fill plugs.
Toyota doesn't often make mistakes. Ok, the Prius, that was not so good. If you own a 80's Toyota 4Runner or a Hilux, you will know that the fill plug for the transmission is a nightmare to undo. I tried all type of spanners but they all just wrecked the plug which seems to made from hard enough metal to seize but not hard enough to stand up to a spanner. I was going to heat it up but was worried about my truck catching fire. I tried tapping it with a punch. No luck. Then I got this extractor and in conjunction with a breaker bar it worked brilliantly. This is an essential tool for all owners of 80's Toyota 4wd. Attached is a pic of the mauled filler plug I removed.
