Versatile ladder with great customer service!
I've used my 26' ladder in several configurations and love it. It's extremely sturdy and durable in any configuration, and can be safely handled by one person (although for some jobs, 2 is a good idea). It's been great to have for indoor and outdoor work around the house. I've had to contact Little Giant customer service for an issue and their response was polite, quick, and they immediately worked to resolve my ladder's issue under warranty. It didn't cost me a thing. My particular ladder had a defect in one of the two latching mechanisms, which meant that when the ladder was extended one of the latches would give way even with minimal weight on it. The second latching mechanism would keep the extension in place enough that I didn't fall, but the ladder didn't feel secure to stand on.I contacted customer service, which is available online and by phone, and submitted a claim. They asked for my contact information and then sent me a message asking for any details about the issue. They had the option to email or text pictures/video of the problem, which made explaining the problem really simple. I wish all companies had such modern ways to make warranty claims! I was able to communicate directly with the engineer assigned to my case and, after they reviewed my video of the problem, they approved a new ladder extension to be sent out to me at their own expense. I really couldn't be happier with their customer service or their product.

chirp, chIRP...CHIRRRP!!! - A vaulted ceiling nightmare
Every new homeowner's nightmare. I have 25-28 ft ceilings in my great room. Unfortunately the hard-wired smoke detector mounted at the very highest point in the vaulted ceiling started chirping. chirp, chIRP...CHIRRRP!!! I called everyone to come and change it. Electricians, Handymen, my friend's brother who has a construction company. Everyone denied having a ladder that could reach it. I and my 2 yr old Labrador retriever were slowly loosing our collective marbles.I'm female, 5'11 and 135 lbs. I wrestled this ladder from the dirt at the end of the driveway into the open trunk of a mid-size sedan and then into the house. A quick perusal of You-Tube identified the safety concerns and operation of the locking mechanisms. Still in my work blouse, culottes and sensible, low-heeled pumps I managed to get it into the un-extended A-frame configuration and climbed it beyond the "safe" step. Even armed with my up-ended Swiffer wet-mop (the rubber surface grips the face of the detector and can turn it to free it from the bracket, well...in theory at least) I could barely graze the smoke detector. I began to despair ever having quiet in my home again. However, as I glared at the ladder it became clear that it could be further extended in the A-Frame configuration. (Yeah, There were probably instructions somewhere but I was a woman on a mission.)As other's have commented it is heavy and awkward to extend it against gravity but by tipping it onto its side it can be easily extended even by someone of my stick-figure proportions. After getting another foot or so of height from it I climbed it again. Sweet, Sweet, Joy!!! I could easily reach detector with the swiffer. I wedged my butt into the gap of the top step and attacked again. I must say that the ladder felt quite sturdy beneath me and tolerated my Don Quixote broom swinging antics with minimal creaking.I was able to land a solid blow and knock it from the bracket and then prise it free from the snap-connector wire with the handy wet mop. I feared momentarily for my upturned face but it tumbled harmlessly to the floor. A clear victory for my sanity. I will never be able to remount it there but I'll probably live longer this way. I'll trust the safety of my home to the five other (lower) detectors that I can now easily reach and maintain with my little giant ladder.

Great ladder
I really like collapsible ladders, and this one is perfect, it allows me to clean my 2nd floor gutters, and gave me perfect reach to hang Christmas lights up into the roof peaks. The extension locks are easy to use, and function perfectly.Overall the ladder is light, but when trying to put it against the house at full extension can be a bit difficult if working alone.

The last ladder I will ever have to buy
I've had and used this ladder for six months now, and I can't say enough good things about it. I've had other multi-stage ladders before but nothing compares to the convenience, sturdiness, and usability of this ladder. The way they designed the release buttons for all the adjustments is just brilliant. So easy for one person to use. The levers that lock and release the extensions have two positions... Push it all the way and the extension slides up and down with ease. With a touch you can release it to the mid-position that allows them to lock into place at the next position it arrives at. Then the release for the hinge is also simple to use. Just give it a good hit with the palm of your hand and it is unlocked. By the way the shape of this button is big and round so you don't feel a thing when you pop it to unlock it. I also feel very safe on this ladder even when it is fully extended to 26 feet! I will say that at full extension I need a second person to help me set it because it is a bit top heavy by design, but I had no problem doing it myself at shorter lengths. I LOVE THIS LADDER! And I don't expect I will ever need another ladder in my life.

plastic
lighter duty than the other Little Giants I own. the adjustment pins work well, the handles are plastic which make me worry about breaking. Overall they tried to make a lighter unit I believe. A couple years will tell the difference.
