I think it is just going to be the nature of the product. The knurling on the bar is going to tare the shin protector up. I just don't know how long that will take.

had these for about 2 months. I am a daily mountain bike rider. I use them for a few hours a day during my rides. and so far I LOVE THEM!!! would not hesitate to order another pair when the times comes. They are well constructed and I definitely recommend these shin guards for protection. Velcro is awesome and works really really really great.

Thick enough to give perfect protection

No more bruised shins. I use these for my summo deadlifts. Now I lift comfortably with thought about sore, bruises shins. They fit securely. Easy to get on and off. A good buy.
