I tried a couple of other cheaper versions of this and ended up returning them. This is now the 2nd one of these I have bought, and they work very well! Simple to set up and you just need a mains supply at the transmitter end. The receiver gets its power through the interconnecting CAT5 / 6 cable. I just used cheap CAT5 cable over about 25meters, and the picture was great. Also purchased separately a couple of cheap, short HDMI connecting leads.

Worked flawlessly straight out of the box. Easy to set up and delivers crisp 4K signal over Cat6 cable with no delay or interference. Solid build quality. Exactly what I needed for my multi-room setup.

Works when directly connected together via lan cable. I get surround sound and great quality picture. Will NOT work if you go through a mini hub.

Replacement as my previous version failed after a good number of years. Was concerned only powered at one end (previous version was both) but worked straight out of the box while it’s over ~25m of cat6.

Just what I needed!!!! If you got a Sky box(whichever) and for minimalism you want to hide box away, get this, the easiest setup possible(after watching a tutorial on YouTube) I was previously using a Sky Magic Eye, and hid the skybox under the sofa, but you lose HD Quality, well that kit is in the Bin now! This kit has bought out the HD! Easy setup, plus you need a long good quality Ethernet Cable, and 2 very short HDMI cables

Spot on! I used to work for an AV company in London, we used to use a lot of Baluns of all sorts, VGA, HDMI, Audio etc. No longer work in that industry, but needed a quick fix for extending my free view box's HDMI to my bedroom. I simply ran a Cat6 cable from A to B, plugged it all in and boom it's up and running, no messing around, nice and simple! IR control is perfect, no lagging or glitching. Bonus that I did not realise is that the transmitter side has an HDMI splitter built in, so you can plug the source HDMI into the transmitter + an HDMI from the main TV at the same time, I ordered an OREI splitter, but sending it back as I did not need it in the end, so all in all this product is perfect for my needs. The units are tiny compared to what we use to use, so placing behind TV's and hiding them is easy. Will definitely be using these whenever I need to do this task from now on, it also gives me confidence in their other products now :-) Good job guys, keep it up.

These really surprised me. I’ve used these cheaper Chinese made Baluns before and have been disappointed, and have even sent some back to Amazon because the image quality was garbage, but these have remained steady, good image quality, no flickering or drop outs, and a good idea to power it down 1 end only, especially if your feeding a projector. Very Good for the price So far so good.

Der Extender macht für den Anfang jedenfalls schon mal einen super Eindruck und macht was er soll. Das Signal kommt sogar am Empfänger (Elgato Game Capture) ein paar ms schneller an als am TV, der per Matrix eigentlich genau so schnell das selbe Signal bekommt. Jedenfalls mit 15m Cat6 Kabel dazwischen eine super Leistung, allerdings nur mit 1080p60 getestet. Und dass der Empfänger via LAN-Kabel Strom bekommt macht es mir noch sehr viel leichter.

I'm using this extender with 100ft cable. Works great with no noticeable latency. Image quality is great. The devices are compact and easy to use. I have them on 24/7 for my DVR and they don't get hot.

Great product. No lag over 150 feet of extension over cat 6 cable. This one my 2nd purchase. Go for it
