Great for backpacking! Sun dries quickly. Human and dog approved
I bought one for my dog on backpacking trips. He swims no matter the temp outside or at night. This blanket combined with a cut piece of z pad works great for him. The blanket dried so fast in the sun. I was so happy with it, I bought one for myself. I just came back from a backpacking trip where both blankets were used. The dog was extremely content and so was I. The night only dropped to the mid low 50s. I slept in my lightweight hiking shirt and pants with no socks on and was warm all night. I even had part of the fly off and had breeze blowing in. Both blankets stuff in the bottom of my pack like my sleeping bag would. For warmer weather and packing for myself plus 2 border collies, I like saving space... and maybe a pound or 2. Definitely a worthwhile buy!

Not big enough to sleep in
I gave this two stars because of how light weight it is and how easy it is to get back in the bag, but the reason I gave it only two stars is because this blanket just isn't big enough for me. I took this to camp with me over this weekend and through the night if I moved even a little bit it would slide off. Another reason I only gave it two stars was because one night at camp the temp dropped to 45° and this blanket just didn't keep me warm. This blanket would be good for a child, as long as it doesn't get too cold.

WARM WARM
I have only had two blankets that can produce heat like this and this is the second one. my first blanket was a old army poncho liner it was soft and comfortable and felt like a pair of loving arms wrapping around you, and this is the second blanket that can produce more heat than it looks like. this blanket is light weight and can keep you warm for hours when the temperature begin to drop. this blanket is great as a great movie snugglier or under the covers for added heat, any way this blanket it a gem and is well worth the price.

This thing is awesome!
I live in Florida where purchasing a low temp sleeping bag doesn't make sense. I also like to winter hammock camp and travel to Georgia and Tennessee for summer/fall camping and need something for the cool nights. This thing is perfect. Being a blanket means I can stick my feet out and increase ventilation but it is more than big enough to wrap under my feet and sides to create a seal. I haven't used it in cold weather but would probably say anything under 50 (and that would be with socks and a hat) would be too cold. This is a great value for the price, is much lighter than a sleeping bag, and takes up hardly any space in my pack. I definitely recommend for 3 season in the south or warmer weather up north.

Does the trick
This is not big enough to use by itself, but it is good to cover yourself while sitting in front of the campfire or stuff into your sleeping bag for extra warmth. It's small enough to leave in your car and repacks easily. It's also significantly less than more established brands so that in and of itself is worth it for me. If I were a hardcore backpacker, I would probably spend the extra money on the other brands because they have a better reputation, and the warmth factor would be much more important. I'm usually a car camper, so if I'm really that cold, I can always turn on my car and fire up the heater.

Great lightweight blanket
I run cold and my husband runs hot so we have a double sleeping bag rated for cool weather and I use this blanket as a supplement. I have used it 4 times over this past winter and I have stayed toasty every time. I also keep it in the car for trips and when my husband cranks the ac, I just pull it out and our marriage survives another road trip. And on top of being warm it's soft and comfy too! I love it.AND I couldn't find the washing instructions and I sent the Facebook page a message and Adam replied almost immediately. If you are also looking for the washing instructions, here was their answer:"You can machine wash on low heat and mild detergent. You can use the dryer on low heat as well, but air drying is best. The fill is synthetic polyester and will have no problems getting wet and should dry reasonably quickly. Hope that helps!"

Good blanket for the money
For the price, this is a great blanket. I used it this past weekend with overnight temps in the 40s. I used this over a fleece sleeping bag liner and was plenty warm. By itself, it's probably good to about 50 and I plan on using it as a top quilt in my hammock in warmer weather. I may add some Kam snaps and a drawstring to cinch up the bottom.

Works adequately for the money
I agree this is super lightweight. I slept under it in my tent the day I got it. It is probably good down to 45-50 degrees F. The only problem I had with it was because it is so lightweight it tended to "float away" from my body. I wished for the edges to have some weight to hold it down and keep drafts out. I could remedy this by putting a blanket over it. I may try to sew some straps to one end so I can tie it into a foot box.

LOVE the blanket - caution about the open ended import fees.
LOVE this blanket. I just missed that it has import fees and fear I paid way more than I anticipated. Otherwise, the blanket is awesome and I would have bought more if there were no import fees (tough lesson learned regarding online shopping).
