Royal Anti-Fatigue Comfort Mat by Zeppoli- 20" x 32" x 3/4" Thick Cushioned - Multi Surface All-Purpose Luxurious Comfort - for Kitchen, Bathroom or Workstations - (20" x 32", Jet Black)

I purchased 3 Royal Anti-Fatigue Comfort Mats for our kitchen in June. Royal brand is by the best I’ve owned. It’s nearly October & the mats still present as being new. I purchased the black 20”x34” & it’s the perfect size. For example one of my pictures shows it in front of my stove~perfect sizing. I also have one in front of my kitchen sink. The 3/4” thickness of the mat is ideal & is what I feel is behind the true quality of the mat. The cushion is solid but provides the comfort needed especially for tired feet :) See my picture. Another plus: the mats rarely move. It’s nice they stay in place. If there’s a lot of traffic on any given day in my kitchen one may have moved a little but not too far. I attached a picture of the bottom of the mat so you can see the grip. Also these mats are very easy to clean, it’s an easy wipe when needed. I foresee having these for a long time based on the quality. Well worth what I paid. Definitely recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

These seemed great right out of the box. There was a slightly musky odor, but it was not unbearable and I think it will dissipate quickly. The mats appear to be very high quality with a perfect cushioned feeling underfoot. Soft, but not so squishy that you feel unstable. Firm enough to support your feet and legs. The brown color was just right with our darker cabinets. The only thing that is worrisome is that they are quite slippery on top if you are wearing socks, in spite of the texture imprinted in the plastic. I think it will be OK once we get used to it, but I would be hesitant to recommend them to anyone who has balance issues or is unsteady on their feet due to the slippery surface.

This is the third anti-fatigue mat I've purchased in the last 18 months and it is my favorite so far. I put it in front of our sink where my wife and I each spend what feels like an eternity washing dishes and prepping meals (we’re a family of 4 with frequent visitors). It's thick at 3/4 inch which makes a huge difference over the 5/8 inch one I bought previously. That thinner one is in front of my standing desk at work and admittedly it has much more use so I’m not surprised that it lost some of its spring over the first 4 months but I’m considering replacing it with one of these Royal mats from Equinox International. The Royal mat is so bouncy that when our infant son demands being carried, I stand with him on this mat in the kitchen rather than on any carpeted area of our apartment. It’s anti-slip in the sense that it’s not going to slip out from under you if you took a running slide at it but we have noticed that it consistently shifts position by a foot or so over the course of a few days. My wife and I both thought that the other was purposely moving the mat. Even though it’s thick, the bevel has stopped us from tripping over it. All manner of liquids and food have been spilled on the mat and are easily wiped off. If I could afford it I’d cover the entire kitchen floor with these.

This mat is amazingly-comfortable to stand on...with or without shoes! I recently moved my home "office-y" stuff from my dining room table to my kitchen counter in an effort to stand more and sit less. For the past 5 years, I have been using one of those $$$ Gel Pro mats. I did not know that I could've replaced that Gel Pro years ago with this superior product! It far surpasses the Gel Pro in every aspect! It is more comfortable to stand on. It is non-slip on hardwood floors. ( My grown son once slipped on my Gel Pro and fell backwards while we were visiting in the kitchen! No more chance of that happening next time he comes to visit!) The edges will never curl up on this mat like like do on the Gel Pro. It is less expensive.AND! the Caramel Brown color that I got is gorgeous! It matches my kitchen cabinetry and it is a beautiful contrast on my hardwood floor.You will actually look forward to standing on this! It's THAT comfortable!Another bonus! It arrives in a big box that enables it to be shipped completely flat as opposed to being rolled up.I will be purchasing another one soon to replace my other Gel Pro mat that is on the floor under my sink! This mat might even make doing dishes fun! This is an Amazon purchase that you will love and use for years!

Updated and bumped down from 5 to 3 stars as, at the one year mark, it began to lose it's exterior coating (the color and textured part). I bought this to replace a similar item I purchased at Target - a cushioned mat for the kitchen. The problem with most of these mats is they have either a fabric facing or the ones with pictures on them are really porous - in either event - both are impossible to keep clean. What I like about this product is that the surface is sealed and given I'm using one at the stove and one at the sink, that's the ideal situation for stain prevention and easy clean up. This product also uses a very dense foam so I don't sink all the way to the floor (which happens with every other mat I've ever bought - thus defeating the purpose of the mat in the first place). The foam yields very well, but is dense enough to still provide the desired comfort. This has a wonderful non-slip surface on the back - my prior mats were forever skating around the kitchen. Finally, it has a beveled edge to it - I used to catch my foot/shoe on other mats and stumble - the beveled edge on this reduces that issue for me greatly. And it looks great with my floor! Very happy with it.The mat comes with a postcard from the manufacturer with a web address to register the product for a warranty - the link was broken, but if you go the main site page, you can see the 'warranty' area on the top menu. It's a bit of a scam to force you to give them a product review, however, so I may skip that part. Love the product - but that 'play' on the part of the manufacturer left a bad taste in my mouth.All in all, even with the mat losing it's outer covering, I'd still recommend it as it gave me a year of comfort and that's worth something.
