The included oil is 30 SEA and only suitable for warm weather. The pipping included is not great and very short. The pump should have been sold on its own for cheaper. If you are planning for frequent usage you will need a better foot valve with backflow prevention and a longer discharge hose if you want to use more than 25% of the head is supports.Runs fine at -10C, priming was simple and volume appeared to be at the rated 30 GPM. With a 1-inch hose, I filled a number of containers that total about 20 gallons in under a minute.UPDATE: A couple of years later and it still works fine. -18C no problems running for 20 min. I'm using a 200' poly pipe (thick wall so little flex) Still getting a great flow. I did notice that connectors slow the water flow so try to use single run of hose/pipe if you can.

So for the first 3 uses the pump was amazing worked fantastic, then the handle broke, not a biggie changed that out, then the next time I tried to start the unit the pull cord would just freewheel out, there is a cam inside the starter mechanism that you can see in the picture exploded. called Amazon they told me to contact Generac, Generac sent me on a wild goose chase of repair centers, the first one I went to said they stopped servicing the products days after signing on as it was impossible to deal with them and get parts. The second said you should just buy a new one it would be faster than waiting for warranty parts, the third repair center also said they stopped working with Generac. After 3 or 4 calls back to Generac I finally gave up and went back to Amazon and they were able to assist. Word of advice stay away from this product!

Worked great for about 8 non-continuous hours after which it would only run at lower RPMs, ~1/2 throttle, then ~1/4 which wouldn't push water up 10 feet. We looked at all the common stuff (carb, fuel lines, plug, oil level, throttle cable, etc.) short of tearing it apart.

This pump products 10 ft. of head not an inch more!DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEYCustomer service will talk to you and take notes but they accompolish NOTHING!!!

Used once worked very well. Went to use it a second time can't go full throttle.👎
