On my 3rd one.... 3rd one working well.. stars up.l
Well... there has to be a reason only one store sells this... the XC line is everywhere and more expensive.... this is cheap and- by my results- it's junk.Edit 2/2024... this 3rd one has worked well on the motorcycle. Pushing 2- 6.5 JBL 620s ... 2- JBL 609c components... and 1- 8 inch Polk MM Sub... clear and powerful enough. The good thing with Clarion is how well these are sealed for weather protection.Original Review-I haven't had much luck with this amp... I just did a replacement request, will be my 3rd... amazon is great about returns. The 2nd one went into protect mode and wouldn't reset. The first one quit powering up... very few sellers of this amp, makes me wonder if it is just no good. Again, amazon has been great about returns.

Not worth it
Took a chance on it trying to save money, the sub channel on mine does not work.

Compact amp
Mine was installed in a Jeep compass. It's plenty powerful for my needs but I think I should've spent a little more for the Kicker CXA 5-channel.It's running some 6.5" Hertz Dieci components up front, 6.5" Hertz Dieci coax in the rear, and the sub channel is pushing a 10" Rockford P2 (ported). My main reason for wishing I went with the Kicker is because the Clarion occasionally cuts out during the engine's auto start/stop feature. The Kicker CXA amps are designed to combat that.Pros: powerful, compact, marine capableCons: direct lead wires are a pain, issues with auto start/stop, sub channel won't be powerful enough for most marine open air applications
