Is the Iview box compatible with replacing a sky q box?

skyq uses a wideband LNB on your dish, if you want to replace your skyq box with a freeview box (such as this iview box) you will need to replace your lnb with a Hybrid LNB.

Why are there no wifi instructions in the manual

Becuase it does NOT have a WiFi network device built-in. You can attach a USB WiFI Dongle at the back of the STU. You would use the instructions that come with the DONGLE!
