Nice looking & sturdy
Very well made, sturdy and easy to install.It does make a louder sound when closing then our previous vent but it’s not a deal breaker.

Large Vent with Damper
If you have a 10 inch pipe this is a high quality vent. There are no open slots for this to leak. It stands tall but in my opinion this is worth the money because it’s not going to leak or deteriorate over time. This is expensive but you will understand why when it arrives.

DIYer here - much better than the one in local store
We redid our kitchen and had to run the duct all the way to the roof. shopped for this type of roof cap and this is the only one for 10" duct that I found would work with my Viking hood with 1200 CFM blower. Works perfect; first time doing this type of work and it came out nice. the only flaw is the net, it just sits there and it can fall easily but so far so good; lets hope it last many years.

What I liked about it all the parts you need were in one box it shipped faster than expected and that’s what I needed as I got one from Lowe’s they sell separately apparently and they didn’t have the other parts so it delayed our work progress. Finally took to Amazon and her it was love it
