Cressi Junior Snorkeling Kit for Kids Ages 3 to 8 - Mask + Dry Snorkel + Adjustable Fins + Net Bag - Rocks Kids Set

I live in Florida. Snorkleing is a second nature to us. I am training my 8 yo and 6 yo to snorkle. On their way to learning scuba. I bought this set for my 8 yo. Because I usually trust cressi to have quality stuff. But when you order in a set you get all their lowest quality gear. The fins are okay. The snorkle was not very soft silicone. The mask sucked. A peice ended up popping off the mask. Thats holds the strap on and decending 60 feet deep and I didnt have any scuba gear on to retrieve it. So the mask was done for. I learned even with children stuff if you want quality. You have to buy individually and spend more money like you would an adult. Stay with brands like Cressi, Tussa, Mares, Oceanic exc.. and the mask snorkle and fins dont have to all be the same brand. Find the quality pieces. Buy one at a time. And you will end up with a set that will last for years.

The description says size S/M is a 1-3 US and the package it came in says the S/M is a 9.5-13.5 US. This threw me off when I first received it and wanted to return them immediately. BUT if tried it on an older sibling and they definitely were going to work. Bottom line is that the packaging size is wrong, the description is right. My 5yr old grand son wears a size 1 shoe and these fit great and should fit him for a few years, a lot of room for advancement. He loved them and they seemed like good quality. Time will tell.

Bought 2 of these for my daughters for a 2 week trip to the Keys. Snorkeled 6 or 7 days and have now been used in the pool at home countless times. So much better than the cheap Walmart stuff I have bought them in the past. Did the lighter trick to burn off residue left from glass tempering process(google it), just like I always do with my expensive dive masks....kids never fog up. They look like they might last awhile too! Both kids say the fins are comfy with no socks or water shoes. Great buy.....

Waste of money. My son wore these 3 times in the pool and they broke when I was putting them on him. As you can see in the picture the small tab the holds the strap buckle on the mask frame broke. The strap no longer stays on the mask. The snorkel was too short for my 8 year old son, it kept going below the water surface. I have purchased Cressi brand in the past because they where some what nicer quality. I’m not sure I will purchase anything Cressi again.

For the Price I like the Combination but for my 6 year old the mask is just too big.It has rather large forehead and cheek flaps , your childs hair will be caught up under the flaps and will cause water to leak in.I recommend the Cressi Moon for kids Aged 6 and above for a perfect seal.Smaller flaps , more flexible.

This set worked really well for my 11-year-old son. He's on the smaller side and weighs 62 lbs, so I often have to purchase smaller "youth" items for him. I purchased the "large" and the fins and goggles fit very well. (His shoe size is between a 3-4.)

Purchased for our 9 year old for a family vacation in the Florida Keys. Although the mask and snorkel seemed to function fine, the snap-in buckle on the strap failed immediately.Our boys wanted to test out their gear around the boat in the mooring before we sailed to the reefs where the water is a bit rougher and this would be their first real snorkeling experience. I strapped these fins on my son myself, and made sure all was snapped into place. We are outdoors people and love our gear, so I was sure to have them on properly. As soon as he hit the water, the impact of stepping off the ladder into the water caused the strap buckle to come unlocked. That fin sunk so fast! Down into the murky, nutrient rich water of the Marathon City Marina, never to be seen again.The overall look and feel of the set met our expectations- a "nicer than anything you would find at Walmart or Target" for a child set. But we returned the set (or what was left of it) as soon as we got home from our trip because of the buckle failure.

Poor quality from this manufacturer. I got this for my daughter for snorkeling, she loved it and has been using the mask in particular daily at summer camp. She came home this week (after approximately 4 weeks of use) and showed me where the swim instructor has taped the strap back onto the mask because the buckle and housing have completely broken off. Disappointed that I now have to shell out $$ for another mask.

Received in almost no time, looks great!!! Looks like good quality materials.. cant wait to go to the beach and see our daughter snorkeling!

Great snorkel set. Worth the extra money.
