Saeco’s newer-style Pressurized Portafilter which replaces all older versions of pressurized portafilters. It has a nice, softer, “rubbery” handle with a more ergonomic shape, and the general construction is stronger than previous versions. The handle is black, and the portafilter comes complete with a double basket. Love it and loved how the got it to me so quickly. So much so I sent a personal email to them.Update 1/26/19, I have been using this portafilter almost daily since purchase and it still works as well as when it was purchased. I am still delighted with it.

It does not match my original Starbucks portafilter, the handle does not have the Saeco logo, maybe a chinese knockoff. The basket is very hard to remove.

Restored my Barista to wonderful espresso
A spring broke in my 10 year old Barista Portafilter. I removed the parts and converted the old one into a non-pressurized PF. I tamped the coffee down to try to replicated 30 lbs, yet to no avail....the espresso (illy) was good, just not great. I found this PF at Amazon, ordered it and my espresso is back to wonderful!!!!!

This works as well as the original--so far. The last one lasted a decade. Only time will tell if this one does.It does develop exceptional pressure that my last one was losing a bit.
