I bought this product because the jars are described as being "Great for canning, yogurt, chutney, jams". But they came with a leaflet which says "The mason jar is not resistant to high temperature, please DO NOT fill with hot food and liquid". I certainly do not know how to use them for canning, chutney or jam without filling them with hot food and immersing them in boiling water.I would appreciate feedback from other purchasers but I am going to contact the suppliers with a view to returning them.

was expecting some cheap glass jars but suprisingly very sturdy and work great. managed to drop one from about 1.2m onto wood flooring and it didn't even break. There are slight blemishes here and there likely from cutting some corners when molding glass but if you don't care for looks these are great, no embossed brand lettering (not measuring scale though either). solid 9/10 especially given the price of 1.20 per jar. if you want to step up you can only go for proper mason jars at about twice the price each
