Bought for other very specific purpose
These seem pretty good for the money. No idea about their use longevity as they're in the bin. I bought these to try for a very specific purpose other than jewelry making. So, can't say how good they are at that. I reckon they should be OK. It's only simple wire bending not complex aerospace engineering. I tested them with a paper-clip & it bent it like a champ. All I know is they aren't suitable for what I needed them for (problem solved, I bought other likely candidates that work). Hence, these went straight in the bin. Unfit for purpose, like MP's. Good, just not for me or my job.

Firm grip that straightens wire and does not mar it
These are awesome nylon jewelry pliers that are great for straightening wire. I owned a pair from a different company for about 20 years and after a couple tries the wire left indentions in the nylon grips. The white grips on this are really firm but not too firm so as to scar my wire. It straightens copper or silver wire without leaving marks. It did exactly what I wanted it to do. See video. These were an awesome value at the time as well. I'm very pleased.

A Good Buy, so I bought 2
Price is reasonable considering they are very sturdy, pads are larger than any other I’ve had. i find i can actually open jump rings with these so definitely no marks. In fact i bought a 2nd pair.
