I have been using the Pedag 198 Solar Plus Insulating Orthotic Insole with 3 Layers of Insulation and a Complete, Supportive Orthotic Footbed, Women's 12 for a little over 3 weeks now and I love them. I have flat feet so I really need an arch support plus I also suffer from plantar fasciitis. When my feet get cold they ache. I have hardwood floors so it seems like my feet stay cold all the time in winter. These insoles have made all the difference in the world. My feet stay a LOT warmer and the arch support and heel pad make a real difference. I am planning on ordering more and I have also ordered the Pedag Viva Summer (Vitality) Warm Weather Orthotic w/ Semi-Rigid Arch, Met & Heel Pad, US W12 so now I am ready for the summer also. The insole ran true to size and fit my shoes perfectly. I am still amazed how well they keep my feet warm all day long.

Not sure how long they will last but works great to limit cold transfer through the soles of my work boots. Regardless, I will buy another pair when they wear out.

Keeps my shoe warmer in 15-30 degree weather and bike rides, but it could be a little wider. I am using them in winter shoes that are waterproof, so they retain the heat that these pads reflect. If you use ventilated sneakers, I doubt you'll notice a difference. They make your feet cozy.

The Pedag Viva Winter Solar Plus Insole is a nice item, but they do run on the narrow side. I bought the size 40 for my Women's size 10 boots and they are working quite well to keep my feet warm. A size 41 would have probably would have fit my boots a tiny bit better, but I did not want to take a chance that I'd need to cut these down smaller because the edges are stitched so these are not meant to be cut smaller!The arch support of this insole is just OK, nothing dramatic. The metatarsal pad is hardly noticeable. On the packaging it looks like a big bump, but in reality you don't even notice it, (or at least ! don't.) All in all, I like these insoles enough to probably buy another pair for next winter for my boots. They seem to be a nice quality product. They are cut for a more narrow foot, but that does not seem to be too much a problem in my wider boots, I just make sure I center them in my boots.

These were exactly what I needed. I have an older pair of ecco boots UK size 41 ankle boots, with good soles that grip well. I bought them when I lived in a moderate climate. I now live in an area where it can go down to 10ºF in winter. I needed extra insulation for the soles and these did the job. I bought the Pedal insoles in size US W10/M7/EU 40. They do reduce the space inside of the boots. I could only wear lighter socks with the insoles in the boots, but the payoff in extra heat gained was worth it. I tend to have hot feet anyway. The extra insulation on the bottom of the boot suited me better than very thick socks. Indeed I think the shoes were warmer this way. I had no problems with them this winter.The arch support in these insoles is noticeable. I didn't find it uncomfortable. The insole is rigid so do be aware that you cannot trim these insoles.Overall, I found them very comfortable and they met the specific need I had to make my ankle boots useable on the days my snow boots would have been too much.

I bought these to put in my winter boots (Kamik Momentums) as in WI I wear these out running errand for a few hours at a time and I suffer from hobbling foot pain if I don't have good arch support. Last winter I had some Envelop arch supports that I stole from my running shoes, but it was a pain switching them back and forth and my feet would kind of be chilly with the Envelop brand. The good news is that the Pedag Viva Winter orthotics solve the cold feet problem, and I like the Metatarsal pad. The bad news is that I that the arch support is not as good as the Envelop arch support I was using so my feet do give me pain after a two hour shopping trip. My plan is to find an additional arch support to put under these.

I use them in my skates. They definitely keep my feet warmer than regular insoles without compromising on arch support. It’s thin enough to fit in my tight skates.

These are not the miracle that some people describe. However, they are very nice inserts that add some insulation and arch support. I would describe the support as "moderate"--noticeable, but they do not "push" on my arches. I like that they are a fairly low profile because I was able to use to replace the thin foam insert in my snow boots. They did not turn my snow boots into arctic survival boots, but they did add some warm when standing in the snow---not a ton, but definitely noticeable.

I found these very comfortable , although I note some buyers have had a different experience ….I replaced the insoles in my walking boots with these and had no problems certainly noticeably warmer …..still to try them in sub-zero temperatures and inside my chest wader bootees both which will give them a real test 🙂

These were a gift, and the recipient was very pleasantly surprised telling me that her wellingtons now feel like top class trainers.They are also very warm

These are quite thick, but they fitted my needs perfectly in my winter boots as I have very shallow feet. They helped with the fit and added warmth too.
