Shelt's 25 Pcs Unpainted Fishing Medium Diving Crankbaits Hard Baits Lures

I have had more fun painting and using these baits. Its thin body gives it a tight wiggle, especially good in cold weather but still good in warm seasons too. I have probably caught more fish on this crankbait than any other store bought crankbait in my tackle box. Forget paying close to $10 per bait when you can invent (and copy) the color patterns of your choosing. The treble hooks I've bought online for cheap are pretty darn good too.

I ordered a set of these just before Christmas. They actually arrived prior to the estimated date so that was great. And the quality of the blanks themselves seems good (haven't tried them in the water yet). But what was disappointing was the eyes that were included with the package. Basically, they were the wrong size. Given the design of the blanks it's necessary to take a "normal" eye and cut it in two...but the company obviously chose the wrong size eye to start with. The little "half eyes" don't come anywhere near filling the eye cavity like they should. They still look really cool but yeah, would've been nice if they'd been the right size.

Have been ordering these for awhile now. Hit or miss. Ordered 25 last month and they were good other than a few being cracked. Ordered 50 a week or so ago and every single one is split from bill to tail. I had to sand all of them down epoxy the seems let dry then re sand all over again. Huge pain in the butt. Time lost money lost. They can paint up nice if your break you back on the prep work.

Overall you cant beat these. I've ordered several of the other styles and haven't been disappointed yet. Quality has been consistent.

Would give higher review but my blanks did not come with eyes. All the pictures showed they had eyes.
