Great looking modern hob but please be aware of a couple of things.
The ceramic hob looks very cool and sleek. It is one of very few available in white so I had to have it to fit the rest of my appliances. Something to bear in mind though is that this (like all ceramic hobs) cannot be installed using a 3 pin 13A plug. It has to be hard wired into a 30A cooker supply. Also what confused me was that the mains cable is 5 core rather than the usual 3 core. Apparently this is because it can be installed in other countries which use a 2 or 3 phase domestic supply (i.e. Germany). After some research the answer was to connect the 2 live wires together and then connect the 2 neutral wires together to give 3 connections. Please note that this must be carried out by a qualified electrician and a power safety certificate (or similar name) must be issued if a warranty claim is made. I have pretty good electrical knowledge and therefore saved £80 to £100 installation costs but after I realised I now have no guarantee as I am not a professional electrician. The second point to be aware of is that as I have been using all my pots and pans for many years on a gas hob they all have heavy burnt on brown residue on the bases. When they are subsequently used on a ceramic hob this residue is quickly transferred to the hob surface due to the very high heat they produce, and this residue is very difficult (but not impossible) to remove. So save yourselves the pain by scrubbing all residue off the pan bases with a brillo pad or similar. Just one more note; I didn't realise these hobs are not adjustable in terms of heat they produce, and work by switching on and off, the higher the setting the less often they switch off. Therefore the heating elements are either on or off. This is why they will burn off existing pan residue if it is present as they will always reach maximum heat.

Lovely hob and great price
Had this white hob in for a wk now so far it,s great , does mark easily when cooking but easily cleaned once it's cooled down , controls are not as easy to see as would be on a black hob, not as bright looking or clear that's the only downfall of this hob .
