Body Glove Flipper Slipper Neoprene Sock

I bought these for use with a snorkeling set I needed for a class I'm in that is going to Costa Rica and Panama in a week. I noted the reviews and did wonder if the lack of a heel would be a problem for me. I got them promptly and tried them on out of water with the flippers. All felt well. Then I tried them in a pool yesterday...Seriously, these things were so comfortable that I was utterly shocked. After 2 hours of swimming around, my feet were really warm (which is the only place where I tend to get cold) and I had no foot problems (blistering, rubbing, pressing) after using the flippers. I don't see how the lack of a heel is that big of a deal unless someone is snorkeling in a place with lots of jellyfish or any predators, and in that case one would need a whole suit anyway...If you are a regular person who has not snorkeled before and is going some place without anything to worry about, get these. The price and the comfort are barely beatable. I searched amazon for about two weeks before deciding on these, and I am not disappointed. :-)

I wanted protection for my feet during physical therapy in a pool. These flipper slippers work great, although I did not realize when I ordered that the heel is open. Fit is good and they are comfortable. The pool deck is slippery but the product seems stable and I have no issues with traction. They dry out reasonable fast and do not shrink.

I just bought these for a pair of Hydro Tech 2 fins that fit a bit loose on me. I have 11.5 wide feet and usually size L fins are too tight, the XL is a bit loose! But these socks fit my feet well and I'm glad they have an open heel. I doubt anyone with size 12 or above feet would be comfortable in the size L socks.The velcro fin keepers are nice, but I wouldn't trust them in heavy surf. Overall I'm happy with them as my fins fit nicely and they don't fill up with water.

Bought these for my husband after I told him I love mine as a comfortable layer between my feet and snorkel flippers, and also for walking on rocks. If you kick around or propel for speed while snorkeling, the sock helps avoid toe-knuckle blisters. He loves these as the hole in the heel drains water allowing him to dive down (about 50') and not keep him afloat as closed flipper socks tend to do. If you walk in these on a sandy beach to snorkel, you will get sand in them through the heel hole, however, it's easy to empty out by shaking your foot with sock on in the water before putting on your flippers. I recommend sizing up on flippers unless you wear the type with adjustable ankle straps. The sock material is like that of a "cozy", so it can double to hold your cold beer after a great snorkel. Dilly, dilly.

I know these are for wearing under fins (and I do that too) but as a diabetic I need to keep from getting brushburns on my feet from the bottom of the pool. I used a different neoprene sock before but these fit much better and work better too. The downside of any neoprene sock is that they wear fairly quickly. Usually within a few months I need to replace them because of holes worn in the bottom sole. These are no worse than any other I've tried. I have a size 12 shoe and I got the Large and they fit well.

This is the first Body Glove product I have bought and will in the future buy more. They are easy on and off but more importantly I feel they will last long. I lap swim with fins 3 to 4 times a week and these show no sign of wear. They are heavy duty.I had previously used Speedo products such as swim gloves and socks but they do not hold up and have now finally found a product that will withstand frequent use.Thanks Body Glove and Amazon.

I used the "free" shipping option from Amazon. Took forever to arrive, though I was in no immediate need. Slippers felt awesome slipping them on "dry" for the first time - I thought I could use these "outside" the pool! I purchased them to see if they would make the fins more comfortable (though I hadn't experienced any real uncomfortableness w/ the fins as of yet, just bought based on others' experiences with fins). However, once on for awhile in the pool, I felt as if the circulation was being cut off from my feet. And I believe I bought the biggest size available. I am about a size 10 1/2. Decided I really didn't need them, and instead of just keeping "more stuff" around the house, I discarded them. I probably wouldn't pursue other product offerings unless I did a LOT of snorkeling w/ fins and was experiencing discomfort from the fins.

I love this product! I just bought my second pair. I would score it 5 stars, but my toenails have worn holes in them and they aren't as soft as they were when they were new. I got good use out of them and they are more comfortable than other brands I've used, so I feel they are a good value for the price. I would definitely recommend them.

Easy to put on and take off. Excellent for beach walking
