can this be cut and reterminated?

Yes but modifications to the item itself will void its warranty.

is this sturdy squirrel proof to run outdoor over the air to network my backrad office?

This is designed for outdoor and for burial use but is not rodent-proof. We recommend using a plastic or even steel rodent-resistant cable sleeve or rodent-proof wire cover over vulnerable parts of your home's wiring that'll help protect it from any rats or mice that may find a way to slip back into your home.

The outer diameter is 7.9/0.20 ± 0.005mm. Using an online converter of mm to inches it is 0.0001968503937.
