I ordered an extra small since it was the only one available. I am at the upper range of the chest size for extra small so I was right between an extra small and a small. At first I thought it was way too tight. I could barely get it zipped up at all. I was going to return it but then I read that you want it to be a bit tight at first and that it will stretch out in the water. You don't want it to float up above your neck in the water which will happen if it's not tight. So I just started wearing it around the house, jumping in the water with it and it did stretch out and fits me like a glove now. It is super cute too! I have jumped in the water with it and I float. It seems high quality and I love the colors!

Great overall
After reading reviews about it being too small, I decided to take a chance and order the XS for my 52lb. 10yr old. It actually fits her better than the 'YOUTH' life jackets meant for kids her age/size. I am very happy with it, looks great, feels great, fits great.
