My search for a reasonably priced filtered showerhead was narrowed down to this one and the Culligan WSH-C125 Wall-Mounted Filtered Shower Head. Besides filtration, what is very high up on the list of priorities is how comfortably it projects the water. Taking a close look at the photo of this one showed alot more placement variation with the spray pattern than the Culligan, so I bought this one. Very happy I did.Taking a shower now truly feels like a water massage. The AquaCare might end up raising my water bill because I now don't want to end the shower! I got the 4 inch version as my shower is in a bathtub. I think a 5 inch would project too wide of a spray considering the narrowness of a bathtub. So, I'd say the 5 inch is a better choice for a wide, stand-alone shower.Installation was very easy. Instructions are provided and basically are: remove the old showerhead, take off any old plumbers tape, ensure the washer in the new showerhead is laying flat and install the new nozzle by hand-tightening. No plumbers tape needed and no leaks. Very nice quality by AquaCare.

This AquaCare shower head was a good purchase. It did arrive with a shower filter included, which was a plus. The shower head does have several different settings from which to choose. It's decent looking so no problem there. So far it's held up very well. No leaking, no cracking from around the edges. The flow of water streaming out is not as high as other shower heads I've used in the past of similar value.I do believe the shower filter is removing some impurities. However, I have not noticed a difference in the condition of my hair or skin solely due to its use. Overall it's a very basic but nice shower head with a filter that seems just right for the price.

Extremely easy to install, as I live in a rental townhouse and wanted to soften the water without asking for an RO system to be installed. Arizona has notoriously hard water and while I've been using this shower head, my hair and skin has not been nearly as rough, itchy etc as if I were showering in the water straight from the tap. Extremely movable, long and short range and filters very well. I really like all 6 different options, and have not had any water pressure concerns or instances of the shower head "exploding/flying off" of the pipe (thankfully!). Mind you, the townhome I live in is older but the fixtures in the bathrooms are newer, so the threading on the pipe this is attached to is in sterling condition. Still added a touch of plumber's tape due to some of the negative reviews of the item "flying" off the pipe, but I very much enjoy it and the ambiance it allows.

I love the showerhead. It definitely filtered the water well. My hard went from feeling super hard to running smoother and feeling less heavy. However, one day the water shot up at the ceiling because the ring securing the showerhead to the arm/facet cracked in the middle. I am not sure how this happened as I do not hang anything from the showerhead. But because this happened, I was only able to enjoy the showerhead for 2 months. It's a shame because it was really nice and good for my hair. Way less of my hair was falling out because I switched to this filtered showerhead.

There is an instruction coming with the shower head, so I had no trouble installing it by myself. The first time I tried running water through it, I did see water leaking from the gap of the metal decorating ring. So I took the shower head off and opened the front part of it. I saw the white rubber o-ring (the thing that is supposed to stop water leaking) was not in the right position. As I put it back to the correct place and installed the shower head back again, I did not see water leaking anymore. I then test different shower modes and they all worked perfectly. Generally speaking, it is a nice product!

Initially rated 4. Noticed a difference in the water immediately. Wish it had an off/off to save water but I'll install a separate unit to do that. Using the 'rain' mode does not save water. Lowered the rating as the head did not last as long as I expected. Probably had it 2-3 years but the nut that attaches to the shower pipe cracked and broke. It actually sheared off at the base of the nut. When I replaced the unit, it came with the filter already in it. But the unit did not seem to work - the initial water through the unit was not colored by the charcoal and the water felt no different from the city water. There was no plastic film on the top and bottom of the internal filter to remove (may be why the effectiveness had expired). I bought a new replacement filter with the film on top and bottom (removed at installation) and it works as expected.

This is a great little purchase, it has multiple settings for water flow. Was super easy to install. I'm not sure how great the filter part is, it's not like I am testing the water to see if its filtering it, but I know the pressure feels great and makes an enjoyable showering experience. I saw a review on YouTube for tips to improve hair health so thought I would give it a shot.

I wish that this showerhead filtered chloramine (chlorine + ammonia) instead of just chlorine, but it has still made a significant difference in the quality of my shower water! I love it. The water is so bad here that I couldn't even take a shower without practically passing out from the chemical vapors & having my hair get all tangled and matted... and this filter has made my hair start feeling normal and healthy again. It's not like a mini crisis every time I take a shower anymore.I still plan to look for another filtered showerhead that filters *every*thing, including ammonia, but I needed a quick inexpensive fix, and this one did the job! I love the way it looks too. Very easy to put on and it has great water pressure.

Definitivamente filtra las sales, el cabello queda más suave y la piel también, en mi caso la presión del agua mejoró cuando la pusimos.Primero estaba con miedo de compárarla pues los comentarios decían que perdías presión de agua pero fue tan buena que compré la segunda.

Es de excelente calidad, más grande de lo que esperaba y llegó 2 días antes de lo estimado. 👍🏻
