Spigen Thin Fit Designed for iPhone SE 2022 Case/iPhone SE 3 Case 2022 / iPhone SE 2020 Case/iPhone 8 Case/iPhone 7 Case - Black

Second time I bought this case. My last case lasted four or five years. Over that span I dropped my phone a bunch of times. A couple cracks appeared in upper left of case this past year (because of me dropping the phone), so replaced with same brand. My husband has bought several for his phones too.Easily clicks, has a tight fit, looks seamless.Case not too slippery. My purse has a slim pocket that this easily sides into. Would not work with a grippy type.

Phones slip out of my hands on a regular basis, so I need good protection for my iPhone7, but hate big bulky cases. The price on this case is so reasonable that I gave it a try, and I've been pleasantly surprised. I wasn't sure the rose color would match my iPhone 7, but it is almost dead on. As for protection, it's been great. After dropping my phone half a dozen times, there are dings in the case but not a scratch on my phone. I dropped it this week on a tile floor, and again, my phone is fine but the case cracked in one corner. The case is not broken and still usable, but I'm back for another one because at this price, there's no reason not to. Spigen wins.

This is my third one of these cases. I tend to need to replace them after a year or so b/c they break around the volume buttons. No big deal b/c they’re cheap. I’ve had black the last two times and love that it’s got a matte, grippy feel. Figured I’d try gold this time to jazz it up a bit. Unfortunately the gold was much more slippery than the black so I returned it and got yet another black one.Other than the color, these cases are awesome. VERY slim and have a nice little recessed spot for a magnet (which I use with a dash mount in my car). I’ve dropped my phone plenty of times and only with really major crashes does it get damaged. This saves me 95% of the time which is more than enough for me, esp given the super slim design. I’m a guy who carries his phone in his front pocket almost exclusively and this doesn’t add any bulk which is great.

I had this same case for my iPhone 6 and loved it. It developed a small crack after about a year but I emailed Spiegen and they sent me another one for free under warranty. The case for the iPhone 7 is basically the exact same, just molded to fit the slightly differently sized iPhone 7 (the main difference is the camera hole for the 7 case is bigger). It fits the phone perfect. Looks great. has a great tactile feel to it. and this one even has a small recessed portion on the back interior of the case to put a small metal plate that attaches to my car-vent magnet mount. and for $10, its perfect.

The Spigen thin fit cases are the only ones I use for my phones. They add almost nothing to the profile of the phone in terms of size, but they add protection as well as tackiness so that the phone is much easier to hold. You can pair this with the Spigen Kuel A200 Car Phone Mount Magnetic Air Vent Phone Holder QNMP Compatible & Compatible with iPhone 7 / 7 Plus / 6S / 6S Plus / Galaxy Note 8 / S8 / S8 Plus / S7 / S7 Edge / LG / Nexus - Black (as I did) and it works like a charm. Super easy on/off mount for the car.I've dropped my phone once with this case on it and the case actually protected the phone from getting scratched. The case itself got scratched up, but when I took it off to look at the phone itself, there were no marks at all.

I don't like putting any kind of case on my iPhone because I love the slimness and look of the caseless phone. Unfortunately, the iPhone 7 without a case doesn't give you the best grip. This case adds grip without detracting too much from the original slimness of the phone. I take care of my phone and almost never drop it. This case wouldn't protect from serious drops, especially if it falls on the top or bottom of the phone which is left exposed by this case. The main reason for this case is to make it easier to hold and allow you to set the phone down on either the front or back without the camera or screen resting directly on the surface.Why just 3 stars? As someone else mentioned, it does collect oils from your hand on the back of the case and requires you to wipe it down occasionally. Not a deal breaker. However, I also like to take the case off from time to time and allow my phone to go nude during the weekend. I probably take the case off and put it back one maybe once every other weekend during the 6 months or so that I've had it. I noticed several weeks ago though that it has developed a crack at the top right by the camera. I'm sure this is due to the removal and reapplication of the case. If you leave the case one, you will probably be fine.Summarization: Good for a slim, classy look. Adds grip. Minimal protection. Keeps camera and screen off surfaces. Collects oil from your hands on the back. Cracks near camera from repeated removals.

I like the Spigen Thin Fit because it's thin (as the name may imply), but it still has enough coverage or lip to cover each surface. It's also very important for me for a case to have an open bottom so that I can use it on a third-party Lightning dock, and this case has it. I also like that it has just a LITTLE grip to it, so the phone doesn't feel slippery, but it's still very simple to slide it in and out of my pocket.The small space for a plate to use with a magnetic holder is also handy, and I've used it in a rental once or twice, though I wouldn't say it's a point that motivated my purchase. I had a Thin Fit for my iPhone 6 and 6S for two years and it held up very well, and am now on my second case with my iPhone 8.
