A tad bland, a lot like pork rinds, but otherwise satisfying
I actually love the idea of these, especially for pescatarians or those on a low carb or keto diet that want chips but don't want pork rinds. These are basically pork rinds but made from wild salmon instead. The ingredients are relatively simple. I got the salt and vinegar flavor and the only mildly offensive ingredient is maltodextrin (corn sugar) but unless you're eating 10 bags of these in one sitting, I don't think it's in enough quantity to be an issue for either carb counters or those wanting to avoid corn. These are not remotely sweet and they don't have ambiguous ingredients like "natural flavors","yeast extract", or "spice".I will say the flavor is slightly lacking. When they first touch your tongue, you taste an accurate and fulfilling salt and vinegar flavor. But that quickly disappears into that signature pork rind texture that sort of gums up in your mouth and absorbs any flavor originally coating it. I am a salt fiend so I feel like these could be saltier. In fact, just adding more salt would fix the flavor issue rather than throwing in additives or flavor enhancers. But these are still enjoyable and satisfying. The crunch is just right: crunchy enough to qualify as a chip but not so crunchy that you hurt your mouth or feel every sensitive spot in your teeth (I have sensitive teeth and a lot of pits so I can't handle super hard foods). The pieces are very irregular so you get tiny pieces and huge pieces all in one bag which makes it rather awkward to eat these gracefully but that's not a deal breaker.Would I buy these again or recommend them to others? Yes, actually, if you have the money. The ingredients are clean enough to not leave me feeling guilty or unhealthy and the flavor is good enough. The only reason I wouldn't actually purchase these is because they are expensive for what you get sadly.

Best flavor so far
Salt and vinegar is now my new favorite flavor of Goodfish chips. These are seriously so much crunchier than any other chip. They are also only 80 calories a pack.

I had to dip in sour cream to cut the strength. Will not order again.
Flavor too strong. Had to dip in sour cream.

Great Snack!
I try to eat as much Keto, low carb as possible, as I feel so much better. However, I miss crunchy snacks like popcorn and pretzels. When I used to eat fried fish, I loved to add vinegar on top, so I was eager to try these. These snacks do smell like fish and look like fish skins - just like pork rinds smell like pork and look like pork skins. These skins have a great salt and vinegar flavor and are very satisfying due to the crunch and the 10 grams of protein in each serving. Each serving is 1 bag so it's nice not to have to share or portion it out, like I do so many other snacks. They are a bit expensive but they come from clean cold-water responsibly caught wild Alaskan Sockeye salmon - and those aren't cheap, either. These skins also have marine collagen and omega 3 fatty acids - this is a great quality snack!
