Works as advertised.
I think it was as described. I used two coats on my yellow tub and tiles. It could have used a third coat, but I think it looks pretty good with two coats. I couldn't bring myself to do a third coat - this paint smells so terrible. I used a painting respirator so I wasn't breathing in any fumes, but it still made my eyes water the whole time I was painting. Be careful! We painted right before we left on vacation so that the house could air out while we were gone. Our clothes smelled like paint when we pulled them out of our suitcases! The paint is very adhered to the tiles. I'm not afraid it'll scratch off or anything. It's on there! I did all the pre-cleaning steps very thoroughly, and I think it was worth it. I was able to get one coat of the shower and tiles with one box. My bathroom was wall-to-wall yellow tiles, so a lot of tiles and a large tub. Needed two boxes for two coats. A smaller bathroom or just doing the tub/shower walls alone would probably only require one box.I'd buy this again as a quick, cheap fix for hideous outdated tiles. It'll serve its purpose for a few years before we do a serious bathroom renovation.

Great product
I was very nervous to use this product due to all the negative reviews here and on YouTube. However, I figured I could always give this a whirl and if it was a total fail I could rip out the surround and start fresh. Only about $75 on the line. I was re-doing an RV shower, so smaller than a normal house shower. I ordered 3 kits. I applied crudkutter to the entire shower then rinsed. Followed by CLR and a rinse. Finally a light sand with 220 grit sand paper on a Black and Decker mouse sander. I then used tack cloth to remove all residue. I waited 24 hours for everything to dry thoroughly since I also needed to coat the inside of the drain. You must use the VOC mask. People weren’t joking when they say it smells. With the mask on it was no biggie. I found a fan pointed at the work surface was a bad idea as it dried the paint too quick. However, I did turn on the bathroom fan to exhaust and I do think that helped. Definitely use the high density foam rollers. As others have said you need 2-3 per coat as they start to disintegrate and leave bits of foam in your finish. I used 1 entire kit for my first coat. I waited only about 90 minutes to re-coat. Then waited 3 hours for the third coat and finally applied the 4th coat 2 hours after that. I took the tub from a horrible dingy brown to bright white. I felt it was fairly easy painting. I had no drips at all. Lighter coats and more of them is the key to no drips. Plus you can go back and roll out drips. I painted a wall then painted the next. Then went back and rolled out the drips on the first wall and so on. I coated the tub too. I had maybe 1/3 of a can left after 4 coats. If you have a standard tub and shower surround I’d get 4 kits for sure. It does not go as far as they say it does. All in all it turned out great and so far is not bubbling or lifting at all. I let the product cure for three weeks before we used it. I figure it’s like any paint though and the longer it sets up the more durable the finish becomes. Don’t forget that it’s an epoxy. So even if you put it back in the can with the lid on it gets progressively thicker and then hardens to the point where it’s useless. 3 hours was a bit too long to wait to re-coat IMO. Product was on the verge of unusable. Good luck!

So pretty!! Make note of the fumes😁
The product was a bit more sticky than I expected and very difficult to clean. But the final product, wow! I can't say how good the tile looks up close. Very shiny pretty and even finish.Tips-Wait the hour between coatsIf it starts to run use a plastic scraper to smooth out the run, the paint will even after that.Ventilation is critical-I didnt realize how bad the fumes would be. It actually made me throw up. That's when I opened all the windows in the house and took a day break from it.The smell is real. And it takes more than a week to go away. I bough the scent adder and added it to the wall paint and that seems to have marked the chemical smell of the tile paint. Before is the red after is the white.

Good product
This product delivers what it claims. Done with care you will end up with good looking tile/bathtub. It's very forgiving to use which is good because its either very runny or so sticky it destroys a roller every few minutes. So it appears it will just leave you a big mess but don't worry it does end up looking great. The real con they understate heavily is the smell. Even with good ventilation and added fans the smell lingers in the house for several days.

Very cool product. Take your time.
We refinished our cast iron tub (has a porcelain finish on it already). We had to scrape off the old junk paint job someone else did (razor scrapers did the trick) and sand it down really well. Prep work was extremely key. We used two full kits on our tub for a total of 4 coats. Follow the instructions, DO NOT skimp on prep work or try to get rushed. Give it the appropriate time to dry. Use a respirator. Take your time and do it right the first time.My wife and I spent about 12 hours on the whole project, but the prior paint job removal was the first 8... once we used the glass scrapers very aggressively (broke several blades) the process sped up quickly. It completely transformed our tub. We were looking at thousands to have a new tub put in, but instead paid maybe $200 between the kit and other materials. Not bad. It has held up for over 6 months now with regular use and no signs of wear.
