Q: Will this work as a refresher on already brightly coloured orange hair ?

Yes but it has a more reddy tone to it. I used it as a conditioner after shampooing my hair. It smells amazing and makes your hair feel so soft.

Q: Can I use this on top of red hair for a top up ?

I'm sure it wouldn't do any harm. I used it on 12yr old daughters hair (brown) it looked great but definitely didn't wash out just faded. I would assume it is a stain. Sorry, probably not overly helpful

You could but you will get a brighter shade the paler the hair is. It may turn out a purpley red colour on the purple parts as the purple is the base.

Q: does it work on mousy brown hair?

It works on my dark hair but know that it doesn’t come out easily. The blonder sections of my hair have ended up keeping the colour months later. I wouldn’t use this on my child in the school holidays x
