I spent 45 years in construction, management side - because I don't have the skills to be a tradesman. I have way too many laser measuring tools, but so goes life. Some in my tool kit have tremendous abilities, but really 95% of the time I only really need 1 - how far this that. Those other ones are kits, cumbersome, and often set in the desk. This little unit, well, is little. So I slip it in my pocket, it is there when I need it, doesnt fight me for carry, so mega portable. The accuracy meets industry standards, has the 2 measure options: 1) from tail, 2) from tip. This gives you the choice the place against the wall, or measure from your standing position. Honestly, these are the 2 measures you really need. Like other HOTO tools, the build quality is very good, reliable and ready to work. I think this is a good buy.

I like the size and design of this tool. I keep it in the change pocket of my jeans along with my guitar picks and penknife and I have been using it around teh house but haven't used it for work yet. I have had it with me but just haven't needed to measure any distances for anything. I am an Estimator for an HVAC/Electrical Contractor and was planning on using it for conduit and duct estimates but I haven't needed to do that in teh last week I've owned it. I may upgrade to 5 stars if it works out when used outdoors. I love the design though, it's just much better design than others. I like the fact I can save measurements to my phone but I'm still writing them down out of habit. That may change once I familiarize myself with the app.

Didn’t know I needed it but I will find a Hundred ways to use it. Designed and built like a quality instrument. Simple one-button control shows design engineering and is followed up with the classiest numeric readout screen I have ever seen. No glossy window to smear up or scratch. The readout just appears on the device like magic. What a cool tool! And the fractional inch measurements are the best part of it.

I bought this to help with small measuring tasks at work and home. Right out of the box, it would not come on. So, I charged it overnight. Appeared to me it wouldn't charge so I couldn't get it to work. I will give only 1 star and if the seller reads this please reach out so I can receive another or be refunded

I love design and going through reviews i ordered, delayed delivery. Look and feel was good, didn’t gave right measurements instead repeated old ones, maybe i received defective one, so returned. I felt The Mi xiomi App is not useful, changing measures don’t need app. Gave 3 stars for design only, Otherwise the one i received doesn’t make any stars.

It's thicker than I expected but it's very accurate and small enough to carry around or put in my kit.

توجد لدي مشكله بالجهاز حيث لايقبل الاقتران مع الجوال او مع اي تطبيق خاص بالجهاز والبائع غير متجاوب معي ابلغه بأن لدي مشكله بالجهاز ويرد علي فقط بنفس الرساله انه لايمكن استرجاع المنتج من سوء تعامل البائع اطالب بإسترجاع المنتج فضلا وليس امرا وشكرا لكم

Es un buen producto y sumamente cómodo. Si bien el precio es algo elevado para su función principal, las funciones adicionales que ofrece la aplicación móvil hacen que valga totalmente la pena. En cuanto a la precisión, es muy similar —si no idéntica— a la de otros productos que he comprado anteriormente, a pesar de que esos otros cuestan apenas un tercio de lo que vale este. Adjunto una imagen para que puedan ver cómo las mediciones son básicamente iguales. La configuración inicial del dispositivo es bastante tediosa, pero una vez que se logra, el producto se paga solo gracias a que guarda el historial completo de todas las mediciones realizadas.

Indispensable ! je ne peux plus m'en passer. Donne les mesures exactes en un rien de temps. La qualité HOTO est là ! Plus besoin de faire de la gymnastique pour mesurer une surface. Simple, efficace et se transporte dans une poche.

Super handy to take measurements with. Only slight downside is the software/app you have to use if you wish to store the measurements seamlessly. You have to use the app Xiaomi Home, which I'm honestly not a fan of when it comes to using this laser measurer. The app isn't dedicated to the device, so you have to jump through a few hoops to get it going. Just wish that was done better.
