King Arthur Buttermilk Pancake Mix Just Add Water, Sourced Non-GMO, Certified Kosher, 16 Oz

This King Arthur Buttermilk Pancake Mix is super convenient and makes really good pancakes with just water added. The texture comes out light and fluffy, and the flavor has a nice buttermilk taste that doesn’t feel artificial. I like that it’s made with non-GMO ingredients and is certified kosher, which adds confidence in the quality. It mixes easily without clumps and cooks evenly on the griddle. It’s great for quick breakfasts or when you want something homemade without much effort. The only downside is that the box is a bit small if you have a big family, but the quality makes up for it. A reliable pancake mix that tastes homemade and is very easy to prepare.

I was thinking it was going to be the same size as the Biscuit mix I get from them. Not sure it is worth the money at this size. But it is good, so five stars for that.

I was excited to find this pancake mix on Amazon because I use King Arthur products and have always found them to be of excellent quality and while this mix is no exception when it comes to quality there's just a little more sugar added than what I would prefer. Ingredients state that 3 grams of sugar have been added which consists of cane sugar and brown sugar. I'm not one who puts syrup or any type of sweetener on my pancakes so the added sugar is more noticeable to me than others. Maybe better if used for waffles but for pancakes I prefer a more savory mix like Kodiak's Buttermilk pancake mix. Probably will find a use for these as I don't want to toss them out but definitely won't be buying another batch.

This pancake mix was excellent. I’ve eaten and made a lot of pancakes homemade, and store bought mixes. This pancake mix is the absolute best, it’s number one for me. They’re not the large fluffy pancakes. These pancakes make up in taste I have never had pancakes that actually melt in your mouth. I made the entire package and told myself I was only going to eat two. I ate four. All I can say is delicious. Delicious. Delicious. More, More, More.

I actually love this pancake mix. Has a good, rich flavor. Husband likes it, too. We don't eat pancakes very often - prob only a couple of times a year, but every once in awhile, we treat ourselves. This is a good option. Can be made with just water - which is what I did and they turned out great. You can also add milk and egg for a "richer" taste. I didn't try that, but I'd assume they'd turn out great. Worth a try! (it's a small bag, so it won't go very far, just fyi)

I tried this based on a review I read. I followed the instructions and the batter was very thick. It did not spread out on the griddle, so you had very thick cakes that where kind of hard to cook all the way through. I have another bag and I will add water until I reach a consistency I like and think will cook better. The mixing issue aside, we didn't think they tasted better than the water only mix we have been using. That's our opinion, you may feel different. They aren't that expensive, give them a try.
