Perfect Fit
I got both the mount and extension, both heavy duty which added needed weight to the assy. fit and finish were good, hardware was complete for mounting. This is one item I won't have to buy again. Good value. Nova 2 stands solid.

Fits Older Jet 1014 mini lathes
I purchased two of these for two Jet 1014 mini lathes purchased several years ago. The new Jet mini lathe stands won't fit the older lathes without drilling holes in the stand to fit the old lathe. Even though the specs on this Rikon mini lathe stand indicated it might be a tight fit for the older Jet mini lathe; however, when I got them they fit perfectly with room to spare. This stand has considerable variation in both the top alignment holes as well as the length adjustment which should make it fit many different brands of lathes. If anyone is seeking a stand for the older Jet Mini-lathes this is the solution.

I beleive the stand might work well if the bolt holes werent drilled in the wrong places
Bolt holes on one upright section of the stand has drilled holes on the wrong sides. Cant even put it together and its missing bolts and nuts.

Sturdy and stable
It fit my Rikon mini lathe perfectly. They even included the bolts needed to attach the lathe to the stand.

Unsteady as designed.
This is a great stand except for one thing. The way that the top and bottom parts of the stand comes together leave a gap that results in the lathe rocking in use, not by a lot but it needs to be fixed solid. I used clamps to solve this but eventually I will put a wedge to fix this problem. The stand was very easy to assemble.
