These things cost a fortune for a reason. Other brands just don't compare. I previously bought a whole set from a widely advertised competitor. They felt high quality and performed well, but there was some kind of taste/smell left on all the foods that touched it. I didn't understand how that could be, because I thought silicone is supposed to be absolutely neutral. I still do not know the answer to this question, but I gave away my other expensive set to my delighted daughter. One day, in the back of the drawer, I found two Stasher brand bags long ago purchased individually at the store. I thought I'd try silicone once more, although pretty sure the contents would be ruined because of my sensitivity to the taste/smell. I am combining those two senses, because sometimes they are overlapping senses and difficult to separate. Mostly, you can't taste if you can't smell; so it's hard to tell which is really bothering you. At any rate, the Stasher silicone bags worked perfectly, just as promised, no smell/odor. TBF, I was the only person in the household who had an issue with the previous brand. No one else perceived it. I am very sensitive, and I have read that some brands, despite their claims, are not as purely silicone as they claim. But now, my daughter is perfectly happy with the other brand, and I am perfectly happy with my Stasher, except for the price, as I must now build up my stock. But again, it's worth it!

I LOVE all these stash bags. I use them daily for our lunches and putting food away. They do not leak and the zipper works great. Only down side is that food can get stuck in it, but it's easy to get out- you can pull the zipper track open a bit and the ends of zipper track where the front and back track come together is are not atattached to each other, so you can pull it apart and get food out of there, too. great product and I feel better about using it that ziplock plastic for chemical safety reasons as well as saving garbage from landfills. At first I thought they were too expensive, but now I definitely think they are worth the money! Easy to wash and so far easy to clean, even when I find a bag hidden under the kids seat full of moldy food... washes easily and no smell left behind!

I've had the first one of these since maybe 2023 and I can't tell the difference between that one and the ones I bought recently. They all work great and have helped us save probably hundreds of plastic bags by now. We have this size, the 28oz, and the 64oz and they all work great. We've saved so much on plastic bags that these have all paid for themselves by now.I've filled them with water and then pressed down as hard as I could and the seal held, even after many uses. They open easily but seal back solid.These are probably my favorite size to store dried apples and jerky. They can hold a full load from my Nesco dehydrator.The hardest part of these is drying but we found a bottle dryer works if you straddle a few mounts to hold the bag open and upside down.

Have now purchased 2 for our home and 1 for daughter’s apartment. Used mostly for storing fresh kale or lettuces. Although, swiped one to use for packing liquids (checked luggage) for Disney trip and worked like a charm!Overall, very pleased and would recommend~ this bag has worked perfectly for keeping fresh greens fresh!

I am just getting into using silicone storage containers. Have tried several and most are too hard for my arthritic hands to open easily. Stashers are more costly, but I can open them! They are thicker than some of the other "silicone" type bags, but also can stay open while drying if on a drying rack. They certainly take up more storage space than the old plastic bags, but I am good with less plastic throw away use. All in all I am pleased with them. I took a star off due to the high price.

I love this bag. It’s crystal clear, easy to clean, high quality and infinitely reusable. It stands up on its own, making it very easy to fill or empty. The seal works well. It fits a huge amount of food.

These reusable food storage bags are the best. Easy to clean and great for travel and bringing food to work. I got other sizes too!

I bought this bag purposely to smash ice. I have beat it with a rolling pin, andSmashed it in the edge of the counter with chunks of ice. This bag is incredible durable. This bag eliminates any other storage bag. Easy to wash. The bag stands up If you want a durable ziplock buy this. You won’t be sorry
