SELENIUM - a sometimes difficult to find supplement
It's difficult to evaluate a supplement. As a consumer, we know little or nothing about a dietary supplement other than what the manufacturer chooses to tell us. I have been taking Selenium for several years. Recently my pharmacy stopped carrying it, so rather than doing an extensive search and driving somewhere to find it, I decided to order it online. This product seems fine. The 'pills' are clean with little or no pill dust in the bottle. The bottle is dark tinted to prevent degradation from light sources. It has an 'easy-open' flip top cap that opens (and closes..) with light effort. The quality of the supplement is fine (I GUESS..??), so no complaints. Overall, I am satisfied and happy with this version of Selenium.

There's a reason they smell bad.
These are selenium yeast, which is more stable & bio-available than the synthetic (yeast free) selenomethionine variety. Selenium yeast stinks. I wash my hands after handling. Once swallowed, odor gone. Also, we take just 2 pills/week, which adds up to the 55 ug/day recommended allowance.
