We're not, typically, a floral family. What I mean is that we tend to prefer vanilla scents to straight out floral ones. But this product was on order at the time we needed to replace our plug-ins, so I thought we'd give it a go.I'm prepared to admit that "nose blindness" has played a part in what I'm going to write, but I'm also prepared to admit that this has, actually, played to this product's advantage - for the mostpart.When we first plugged it in, we were INSTANTLY struck with a powerful, though not unpleasant, floral aroma that more or less filled the house. We keep our plug-ins on the lowest setting (only having a tiny house and having the windows open through the summer), and had grown thoroughly used to (nose blind to) the vanilla plug in we'd been using since Christmas (a cheap multipack meant we had months and months of refills). So a sudden, hearty floral whiff was instantly noticeable!Over time we grew more used to the scent, thinking at one point it had run out much more quickly than expected, as we couldn't really smell it anymore. But as lockdown ended and our friends started to stop by again, they all reported being able to smell it from the front door (and as I sit here typing in the next room, I'm catching the occasional whiff of it again).It's really quite a lovely scent, though (bear in mind our tiny house) it combines weirdly with dinner smells, leading my son to claim - more than once - that I'm conducting strange food-based experiments and trying to invent some weird new food fusion involving laundry powder and beef stew.What he doesn't know is that's ACTUALLY the case; I'm just relying on these plug-ins to mask the smell of it until I'm ready to declare my experiments a triumph and take over the world.Seriously, this air freshener is THAT GOOD.

I'm not the best with these kind of smellys (or whatever term you use), but we had a leak in our airing cupboard and there was a lingering smell of damp wood that was persisting in the house so we got out the old Ambi Pur plug in and thought we give a new scent a go. The last one we used was a christmas scent but I found it a little over powering. I looked at the Clean Linen/sheets (not sure what it's called) but a lot of reviews said that the original smell had changed with the move to Febreeze. This seemed to have good reviews so I thought I'd give this a try. At first taking it out of the packet I was overwhelmed with the smell and I thought this would be horrendous in the house. I sat the bottles off to the side out of the way to give them time to air a bit. The next day the smell had dissipated and I popped them into the plugin on the MIN setting. I left it going for about an hour and found that amount of time was enough to clear the air and leave behind a nice floral scent. I like that you don't need to have it on all the time to do this which should also make the bottles last longer. Since then we've only needed to put it on a couple times just to clear the air of bad/stuffy smells of the summer and I find myself not noticing the scent now, the house just smells nice.
