11 12 13 14 15 Ford Explorer Roof Rack Cross Bar Black 2PC

I purchased these roof rails to mount our cargo carrier. I’ve had this carrier for years and have used it on several cars. The rails are not rigid or strong enough to hold the carrier. Empty or loaded... the carrier slapped the top of my car from Colorado to Kentucky. I’m taking these off and throwing them away. Do not waste your time or money.Apart from that, they installed pretty easily. They are just made super cheap. All plastic pieces. They also hum when nothing is attached to them.Junk junk junk.

These are no good. You’ll spend time with a knife or file working on the slide in brackets to fit the metal backing plate. Then when I tried to slide the first bracket into the factory installed rail it snapped in half. Save your money and spend the little extra for the OEM Ford parts.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. This product is a joke. It does not fit the 2015 Explorer Sport. Returning ASAP.The cross bars seem sturdy enough but the plastic parts are poorly molded and cause it not to fit in the rails. The instructions are almost unreadable from being photocopied too many times. I guess it really does make a difference to buy the OEM/Genuine version of some parts.

Buyer beware, doesn't fit 2015 explorer sport and instructions aren't readable. Product seemed sturdy though. Sending back.

This product does not fit my 2012 Explorer as advertised. The connectons to the crossbars are made of plastic so I'm not sure I could use them even if they fit.

Fit well but has a lot of flex once put in to use with the Curt basket (extension included). May be more suited to lighter loads, just not sure how light you can get a loaded cargo rack to be.

These were just what we needed! They worked great!

Fit great, easy to install.

Was able to install myself with some studying of the diagrams. With a few additional instructions this task could save the average consumer the installing cost.

Instructions were not too clear , hard to read other then that product was okay.

Was difficult to put on

Took a little elbow grease to get it installed, a bit harder than I expected, but totally worth the effort. The rails fit great and look natural on my SUV.

Great roof rack, accept that the front cross bar is a little short and so doesn't bow up quite like the back one. Wouldn't use this rack to carry anything too heavy. Looks great.
