Really neat starter kit
I am trying my hand at planting, I am just taking seeds from fruit I buy and just trying my luck. First I just threw some green pepper seeds in a planter and low and behold I so far, got two peppers, OMG I kill everything. Okay so I thought, wow maybe that black thumb I have is turning greener. So I gave this a try, adding water to the disks is pretty cool. I thought I would have waited a bit for them to expand but it was instantly. Then I put them in the tray, placed a seed in each one or two in each one, I needed my luck to work. Added some water to the bottom container, ass the planter container, covered it and hoped for the best. I did not open any holes I left it closed to create moisture. And low and behold I have plantings. Not all sprouted, but that is the seed not the dirt. But wow, I can't believe I actually planted something and it grew.Id di not get any mold in mine so far, I am leaving them in their spot, the ones that did not sprout, just to see if they mold. I will update, but so far, after about 3 weeks there is nothing. I am so excited now, I can try my hand at more things to place. I just need to find space to plant them after they sprout. This is a great set and everything you need to start your own gardening.

Great seed starter
I tried coir starters without this setup and while they worked they kept flling over and were a general pain to handle. I love this set up and the price--it makes it so easy and the seeds don't dry out. Very happy with this purchase and buying some as presents.

It works, but no directions are included.
This works fine, but with a caveat or two. First, If you don't know what you are doing, bear in mind that there are no directions. It is perfectly obvious how these are put together, so that is not the problem; however, I had to go back on Amazon to learn how to soak the pods, etc. Also, the little pods that you soak are closed at both ends. I figured that I had better open the top so that I could get the seeds into the planting medium. That worked fine.Overall, it seems like a decent product, but directions are always good!

Good trays, bad dirt pods.
The trays are perfect for my classroom use. The little dirt pods, though, are somewhat wonky. They're covered in a sort of paper that won't allow me to poke a seed through. Had to break them all open which was a mess. Maybe I'm missing an instruction somewhere.

Works perfectly.
Worked perfectly. I used it to germinate strawberry and blackberry seeds. Added warm water to the pods, placed them in the container, cut out some of the top paper so the seeds could be placed in there, added the seeds, then actually added some soil around the pods (you apparently don't need to do that, but it just looked better to me), put the covers on, and fully closed the humidity wheels. Two weeks later there were baby strawberry and blackberry plants.
