I've used ultrasonic pest devices for years and have mostly been pleased. But there are downsides. This one in particular covers a portion of the upper outlet. It might be possible to also use a 2-prong plug, but definitely not a 3-prong (with the ground pin). It surprises me when manufacturers overlook the obvious.

This simply doesn’t work. We’ve tried it out for two weeks and unfortunately our mice issue has remained the same. Don’t waste your money on this.

Bought this for my garage and around the house...I feel the only thing it does it emit a really obnoxious and completely useless light that just wastes electrical power.For those that say well how do you know...look at the picture....it says everything. You can clearly see this spider with in inches of the "repellant device". And for reference that is with each of the 6 devices I have tried in this socket and NONE of them do ANYTHING. This is a fraud device.

I purchased enough for our whole house and we still have spiders all over the place. Very disappointed with this purchase. Waste of money, I have dogs and didn’t want to spray in the house for spiders. The original brand I used worked for two without failing. We weren’t able to find a replacement for them.

Thought these would work for our small roach problem along with other methods and they did nothing. We plugged them in and used other methods to get rid of them hoping the pairing of the plug ins would help. No such luck. Said they would be gone after 3-4 weeks but it’s been longer than that and we are still having to used other methods while we wait for the exterminator.

These are placed all over for the full effect, worked great for a while. Now the bugs are back. I don’t know if they just stopped working hard to tell. Also the blue lights when they are plugged in are super BRIGHT, hard to have in the bedroom at night to sleep. 3 star for initially working and then stopped.
