grohe 26728000
The media could not be loaded. If you want to install such a system in your home, you must do it yourself or hire plumbers who come from Europe. Not everyone understands how to install it. This is not the American system. I have been using this for a year now I have everything from this company # plumbing as the faucets do not leak or drip # toilet bowls # sinks. Just a product for each person. Good luck 🍀

Amazon Switched Product in Box!!
Received what I thought was Grohe 26728000 ahead of Bathroom Remodel. Contractors wanted all products on site before beginning renovation. Plumbing products were left for plumber to unpack and install. Upon installing, we arrive home to see a different product installed than what was ordered/pictured on website! The TurboStat control is located on left side instead of right side; the handheld shower hose comes out of left side of unit instead of center of unit; the handles are differently shaped, not streamlined, and the buttons on the handles are round, not oval as they are supposed to be. The handheld shower mount is also on left side and upside down. What product is this?!! I don’t have any way of knowing, but it is not the $555 model I paid for. Additionally, the left side operation does not work well for our shower since it is installed on the right hand side of shower! This is a real problem all around, let alone paying a plumber to come back to uninstall and reinstall correct product. And now Amazon says my 30 day window for returns has closed!!! I contacted Grohe, sent pictures, and they are as confused by what is actually installed as I am. What is Amazon prepared to do to make this bait-and-switch disaster right? I feel like we’ve been duped and swindled out of $555 + plumbing costs.

Problematic installation
Do not buy the Grohe Euphoria product, or any product that relies on a connection with parallel threads without a O-ring or rubber washer seal on the end to butt up against. As stated by others on the Internet, the Grohe products that rely on parallel threads and no O-ring or gasket are very prone to leaking inside the wall. I bought the product before reading about the leaking problem and therefore installed plumbing, shower wall-board and tile to accommodate the Grohe Product’s unique requirements. Once a leak appeared on my installation, and I read on the internet about the common leaking problem, I was stuck with trying to make it work without leaking. After four tries, using various methods (most recommended by Grohe tech reps) and a week after my last installation attempt, no leak has reappeared — yet. Please wish me luck and don’t buy any Grohe product that uses parallel threads without a O-ring or gasket.P.S. In case you don’t know what parallel threads are, they spiral like all threads, but the male connection does not expand the further it is inserted to make a seal with the female connection that contracts as it goes in. Lubricated by teflon tape, this makes a tight seal. The parallel threads on the Grohe product are more like a nut running onto all thread with no stopping point. Grohe’s ealing cord or Blue Monster teflon tape are suppose to stop leaks. Good luck with that.
