Tackles the big stuff and saves your back!
I can't work with traditional weed eaters anymore. Back in the game with land management tasks now that I have this. I like that you can be conservative and save string, or aggressive if you don't give a flip about how much string you're consuming - you just want that vegetation DOWN. LOL Your line use will directly correlate to your task.

Great product except wheels
Love it and the head just wish wheels were better. Doesnโt like rough ground has to be smooth no little ruts

Great little weed cutter.
I have nearly 2 acres of wooded area that I use this to clear trails and a couple of large clearings. It makes quick work of them. I also use it to clean up the ditches on a few properties. After 2 years the front skid finally gave out. Easy and quick fix.

Edger budget
This machine is beast when running. But within first 4 months main nut holds drive belt on came off. Manufacturers after back and forth sent part with horrible instructions how to fix I had find YouTube video. It does okay but I had buy another get self propelled.

Truly an AWESOME machine!
This machine is amazing! It's lightweight and maneuverable! Great for all detailed landscaping, places that a riding mower cannot maneuver around or get to, trimming around trees, and it's super powerful! Restringing is really simple! One pull and it starts right up! I no longer have back pain and arm fatigue when I'm done trimming compared to lugging around my weed whacker! I would recommend wearing jeans, boots, and safety glasses because it may grab onto something random and whip it around or rock may fly even though it does have a safety shield things can and do happen! I have had a rogue limb come back and smack me in the shin... wasn't a pleasant feeling! The manual and oil were included with my purchase. It took me about 30 minutes to put together by myself (would go faster with two people) and it was easy to put together! The string can be purchased anywhere that sells trimmer string... Wal-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. I find it's cheaper in-store than online.Warning: It can and WILL whack down, with ease, young trees and bushes so be very careful when trimming around delicate things! I have whacked a couple of lilac bushes on accident... RIP. lolWould I recommend this??? 100% Absolutely!! I wish I would have purchased this YEARS ago! It's really great!

Very Easy To Mow Down the Big Weeds and Grass
This is the 3rd walk behind big weed eater that I have purchased over the last 15 years. They last about 5 years before the spindle wears out or the carburetor has issues. The biggest issue is getting it to stay running after it initially starts. You need to prime it and then keep pressing the priming bulb until it keeps running. This may take 2-3 minutes before it gets warm enough or has enough vacuum to keep the fuel flowing. Once started, it is a beast and will chop down any weed or grass. It does not do well on trees larger than 1/4 inch in diameter and the string will cut itself off if you are hitting hard objects with the string. It is easy to replace the string, so I would not complain if I am hitting rocks and landscaping with the string. Lasts much longer than a regular gas weed eater. It has big wheels and pushes along really easy. I like that you can cut really close to the ground and cut back on using liquid weed killers. I usually install a fuel cut off valve and run the fuel out of the engine after I use it. Recommend as it is much cheaper on Amazon for the same model at the farm supply stores in our area. Amazon prime delivered it in 3 days. Took about 20 minutes to set it up and start cutting.

Good power, excellent price
I bought this walk-behind trimmer when my Craftsman one died. After letting the weeds get a bit overrun and a frustrating afternoon using a hand-held trimmer (something I swore I wouldn't do anymore as it aggravates my shoulder), I took a chance with this trimmer. The price was right and the reviews looked solid. It was easy to assemble and once I filled the gas and oil, it started up immediately. I've only used it a couple of times so far but I am very impressed by how it performs. It powers through the toughest weeds. My only complaint, and this is why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that it does not have one simple feature (that my old one did and I apparently assumed this one would have) and that is the ability to idle. Once you take your hands off the throttle, the engine immediately cuts out. I assume this is for safety reasons but it is inconvenient to have to restart the engine every time I have to pick up a rock or large stick that is in the way. Still, I suppose I will adapt. It is still a very powerful trimmer and I am very happy with it.

Exactly what I needed for an overgrown lawn
My mother's lawn has been neglected for a couple years and I've been trying to figure out what to do about it. The one guy I got to look at it said he wanted $1000. I ended up getting this thing and I'm pleased as punch. I'll admit that I only got it today so I don't know how it'll work out long term, but so far it's been perfect. It wasn't hard to assemble, though the instructions could be a little clearer, I was able to figure it all out. It also would have been nice if the instruction sheet listed the size of the bolts, but again it's nothing major. I put oil and fresh gas in, primed it as instructed and it started on the first pull. For overgrown grass and weeds it cuts pretty quick. I find for me it works best to plunge into the weeds instead of working back and forth so that I'm not constantly getting caught up by thorny weeds. You do need to be mindful if you see an trees. I pushed into a patch without paying much attention and hit a small tree (diameter about the size of a quarter) and it tore the line up completely. Lesson learned.Overall very happy with my purchase.
