Got this for my 4 yr old's recent bday. She saw it on YouTube kids and fell in love!It's very cool, the egg cracker tool is GENIUS! And I even use it to crack my eggs now; fun & NO MESS & No shell in the eggs, perfect crack every time!This is not cheap. The items are high quality and are exactly as described. Actually BETTER than described!We love that the bowls anchor to the counter top with the suction cup so it doesn't spill. Making it much easier for little ones to mix without all the spills and accidents.I don't usually leave any reviews, but I just HAD TO for this neat set!This is great for kids 4&up. My daughter can use every item very well without help. Got this as a birthday gift for my 6 year old daughter. It's a cute little baking set! It comes with pretty much everything need to open the box and make cupcakes right away. The only things you need that aren't included you probably have in your house already - eggs, vanilla (which I didn't have, so I subbed maple syrup), etc. My daughter was able to do almost everything with just a little assistance. It comes with enough cake mix to use twice, but it only includes enough frosting and sprinkles for one use, which I thought was weird. Everything it comes with is miniature - tiny silicone cupcake pan, tiny whisk, etc. It's a cute and fun set and it can be used again and again. One MAJOR flaw - you can only make 4 cupcakes at a time (the silicone cupcake pan only has 4 spaces). One MAJOR pro - the easy egg-cracker!! Stick the egg into this plastic contraption, push down, and you've got a perfectly cracked egg into an attached contained dish. I'll use this regularly in my kitchen now!

This was a gift for my 8 year old niece. We made one of the batches of cupcakes yesterday. The directions were very clear. The utensils were very easy to work with. The egg cracker wasn't the greatest- we had to maneuver the egg a couple of times to get the whole egg to drop into the egg catcher, and then had a few small pieces of egg shell in our egg. One mix made 11 mini cupcakes. The icing was also easy to make and the frosting bag worked well. We followed the suggestions of poking holes in the cupcakes and putting the sprinkles inside. My niece loved it and of course, loved eating the cupcakes and sharing with family. I loved getting to spend quality time with my niece and being able to teach her a bit about baking!

My daughter loves this product - she's 3 years old. I have several issues with it though. First, the egg cracker does not work for me at all, no matter what type of egg I've used. Also, the suction cup for the bowls does not work for me either. I wish the kit came with another silicone cupcake tray too. That would make the process a little quicker. Still fun and quality enough for the cost.

This kit was everything that I needed when I had a baking party with my niece. I got it for her 8th birthday and we used it together this past weekend. The egg cracker was probably my favorite (no eggshells, so easy!), the sprinkle surprise cupcake was her favorite. The fun colored accessories were not only cute but functional; the suction cup bowls saved us from disastrous messes on more than one occasion. Definitely worth the price for all the cupcakes we were able to make, not to mention we'll be able to reuse the accessories every time we bake from here on out.

This was just okay. I gave it to my 5 year old daughter for Christmas and she was SO excited about it.What I didn't like:1. It was kind of annoying that all the measurements were so small (a tablespoon of beaten egg is frustrating to measure out and unnecessarily difficult for a small child).2. The icing was irritating because we didn't want to make all the cupcakes in one day, just the tuxedo ones, but the vanilla icing for both recipes came in one package so we couldn't use the leftovers for the sprinkles cupcakes we made several days later. I made some fresh icing homemade (which tasted better anyway.)3. The egg cracker wasn't all that great either, in my opinion. The eggs fit in there nicely, but wouldn't crack all the way through. I had to reach in and help open up the egg so the white and yolk would fall into the little bowl underneath. I tried several eggs and got the same result.What I did like:1. The kid friendly bowls. It was nice for my daughter to stir the batter in the bowl with the little suction device on the counter so the bowl wouldn't topple over.2. The whisk and spatula are of good quality and perfect for little hands.3. the cupcakes made from the mix tasted okay.All in all, this was basically a good gift for the bowls and utensils and we will have fun making our own homemade cupcakes in the future.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She is absolutely thrilled with it! The 2 bowls both fit on the blue base (under the blue bowl in the picture). The base suctions down to the table. With children using this, they should definitely hold on to the bowl, though because the suction doesn't hold entirely. This does come with 2 baking mixes, 2 frosting mixes and 3 decorations. It also comes with easy to read instructions for kids, along with tips on how to make the process even easier for them. For example: place your frosting bag in a tall glass and fold the top over the edge to make it easier to fill with frosting. Overall, very happy with it! She will enjoy using this for a long time!
