Works great with the xps 13 (9360). It's perfectly flush so that if you want to get it out you have to use tape or dig it out. But the only reason you'd want this and not a normal sd card is to add extra permanent storage anyway, so as long as you buy a micro sd with enough storage, you shouldn't have to worry about it. In case you do want to remove it, this creates very little friction with the slot. I had no trouble getting it out with a small pocket knife just to test it out.

Purchased for Surface Book and it works well. It does not sit flush with the edge though, it still sticks out a few millimeters.

I'm using it with a Dell XPS15 2017, and it works a charm. It sticks out about a millimetre, and it has a ridge to pull it out with your nail or something. It's just right.It appears to be a pin-to-pin adapter, meaning there's likely no circuitry inside, which makes a speed test superfluous. This also means it cannot pose any hindrance in throughput.

Sticks out, frustrating as it specifically says it does not. If you want something flush, this isn't it.

I have a Dell XPS 13 and this adapter fits PEFECTLY FLUSH with the case meaning that it is very difficult to remove. I had to use tweezers to get this out of the SD slot. Function is fine. I added a loop of electrical tape to help extricate this thing from my laptop. It would be great if the adapter were about 2 mm longer with a small groove to help pull it out.

I purchased this to use with a MicroSD 200GB card in my MacBook Air mid-2012. It worked with my 128GB card, so I assumed it would be fine with the 200GB. I was wrong! I constantly got the Apple error code-50 and had to restart my computer for it to work...usually for a while, before getting the error again. Meanwhile, the 200GB card worked fine in a standard size SD adaptor! I read all the blogs that I could find but no one seems to have an answer and the manufacturers are silent on this.So the adapter is in a drawer and I use the standard SD adaptor for my card.

I got this for my Dell XPS 13 9360. It fits perfectly flush and is even the right color to match. I was a little worried about getting it out at first but as others have mentioned it is possible to get your fingernail in and pull the adapter out. I tried it several times just to be sure but normally I will just leave it in. I am very happy with the adapter.

I am using this in a 2015 Mcabook Air with a Samsung 256GB micro sd. Works great and saved the cost of buying/trying out specially made sd cards with 256GB. I just leave it in the slot while off and have no problems with it being included at startup. I would definitely purchase again.
