This is my second one. First one lasted years with honestly rough daily use. It’s still going although occasionally it will turn off if you move the cord wrong. It lasted years so when it came time to replace it I knew Monster was the only strip I would accept.Have you purchased cheap power strips? I have and you aren’t saving anything with their poor construction and bad plugs that get loose over time.This strip is robust. The top housing is metal. This one is a textured matte finish whereas my older one is shiny. Or was. It’s pretty scratched up now. The cord on this one is a braided cord vs ordinary rubber on the old one.I expect this power strip surge protector to last as long if not longer than my previous one. Monster definitely didn’t make their product cheaper. If anything they improved it and I like that in a company.Made in China - of course.

This was a great choice for a surge protector. I wanted something to plug my Ryobi battery center and other Ryobi batteries too. It just so happened was this not only well made but matches the colors of my Ryobi Tools so that was an added bonus. It feels very sturdy and I'm very pleased with all the outlets and how it fits on my little shelf. The cord is quite thick and sturdy as well. I have no doubt this will last a long time.I would highly recommend this surge protector power strip if you need a heavy duty one that just happens to be cute too.

I especially like the long, heavy duty power cord and the 2 USB inputs come in very handy (in the event you forget to bring a USB power plug adapter).

Flat right angle plug!!! Super heavy duty, 12ga, 8 foot braided cord. Wall mountable. High visual profile. As always, Monster Power goes it again!!! Extremely pleased. Can be used either home office or home workshop. This is Definitely worth the money. I always buy Monster. Always dependable. High quality. Low cost. It’s a Monster. What more could you ask for!!!
